Story: The game begins in 2025. As time passes in our modern world, maintaining a full scale military becomes a burden. In a fully globalized world, the only security threat is from small scale rogue organizations against whom large forces are useless, and the fuel needed to supply increasingly mechanized armies becomes more costly. As a result, most nations armies decrease to the size necessary to defend against a "national emergency". Furthermore, under the "Millennium Accord", no nation's military is permitted to leave its own borders, officially creating world peace. In their place rise PMCs (Private Military Corporations). They have two advantages: first, they compete, lowering their cost, and second, they are allowed to work for anyone, anywhere. In an unregulated global economy, the companies soon compete by less than honest means. After enough mergers, bargains and buy-outs, however, the remaining PMCs decided to use their weapons to full use. The original attacks followed a simple plan; shoot their soldiers, supply goes down causing them to charge more and ultimately, they go out of business. (Source Wikipedia)
- MAG Features 256 players in a game.
- MAG Follows an Exp System.(Such as Call of duty 4)
- MAG has customizible load outs(Load outs which you can customizable and then pick them in combat)
- MAG Has a Command Level system, each 256 players are divided into 16 squad which is made up of 8 players and each squad is led by a squad leader, Each 4 squads make up a platoon which also has a Platoon leader, and 4 platoons make an Company.And the company has a leader. There is no penalty for no obeying squad leader, But there is an Exp bonus for each kill when obying him(Example: The squad leader tells you to take over a bunker, Any kills you make near the bunker will have a bonus exp)
- MAG Is tactical, For example Defenders must defend a spawn point, If the attacking team takes over it they will be able to spawn there and advance easier. Or if the attackers destroy the Anti-Aircraft Battery they have the ability to call in a UAV.
- You are able to drive an APCs, Tanks and (Not confirmed) Airplanes.
- Everything your faction does even in this game, contributes to something called the shadow war
Shadow war(Note i would like to thank witham from the EU Playstation community for explaining this): "The Shadow War".The big thing to get your mind wrapped around on MAG is that there are no actions that are not caused by a real human player somewhere in the world. All the bullets, air strikes and foot steps are caused by the actions of other human players in the MAG. It is not like other first person shooter games where everyone is an computer controlled AI player with the exception of one or two humans. We are talking about absolutely everything in the battle is the direct result of human actions. If you are looking for a linear shoreline where AI driven characters hold your hand from point A to B you should go play a different game. This is war. It is a game that has been designed to be a real persistent place that does not die when you turn off your console. When you log on to the MAG you are assigned your battle and you do your part but the world will continue after you did your duty in the game that day. They are aiming to have MAG deliver persistent battles and immersive war zones with constantly evolving gameplay. Battles are designed in stages and certain events will change the flow of battle. For example once a bridge is repaired and the anti-aircraft batteries are destroyed it can enable a whole different part of the invasion.
Game Modes:
- Domination(256 players): One team is the attacker and the other is the defender, Defender must defend objectives (Such as a bunker,Base,Anti-aircraft battery..Etc)for an amount of time, Attackers must destroy/capture the objectives and hold them long enough to win.
- Acquisition (128 players): Escort type of game requiring attackers to steal two protoype transports from the other team and escape to the extraction point.
- Sabotage (64 players): Attackers must infiltrate rival communication facilities and hold two control points at the same time - Once achieved, a final demolition objective is revealed and must be destroyed to win
- Suppression (64 players): Basically a team deathmatch, Only mode that doesn't contribute to the shadow war.

Tough, Tactical, And experienced These soldiers are your traditional 21th century Military soldiers, equipped with the basic military gear, and now wage war with the other factions.
Teamwork is there Specialty. Choose this if you like Modern warfare type of feeling.

Valor seems to prefer Modern American guns.
- M4A1:30 rds, Accurate Assault Rifle.
- FN SCAR LW: 30 rds, currently in use by SEALs as a rugged and accurate assault rifle.
- M249: 100-200 rds, Accurate LMG with fast fire rate.
- colt 1911: 7 rds, standard medium power pistol.
- AT4: single shot standard Rocket Launcher.
- M14 EBR: 20 rds, Accurate Assault rifle, good stopping power at long range.
Raven
Raven is a highly financed Private military company, They own advance technology. They prefer skill and technology, but are also strictly discipline. Technology is there specialty. Choose this faction if you prefer Sci-fi type of feeling.

Raven prefers but are not limited to Pototype and new weapons, They are the first to use most weapons on the field.
- AUGA3: 30 rds, Accurate, decent Assault Rifle.
- MP7A1: 40 rds, Advanced SMG with high accuracy and low recoil.
- L96AW: 5 rds, Extremely accurate long-range Sniper Rifle.
- G3A3: 20 rds, Powerful and accurate Assault Rifle.
- HK417: 20 rds, Powerful and accurate long-ranged assault rifle.
- MG4: 100-200 rds, Accurate LMG with a fast fire rate.
- Panzerfaust 3: Advanced, standard rocket launcher.
- M870: 8 rds, Standard Pump Shotgun.
- XM500: 5 rds, Bolt action .50 cal sniper rifle.
- F2000: 30 rds, advanced assualt rifle with moderate accuracy.
S.V.E.R
(Seryi Volk Executive Response) SVER is a private military company, Formed by war torn countries, Mainly from the Middle east and Russia,They look Rebiliouse are considered an underdog by Raven and Valor. Experience is there Specialty. Choose these if you like Rebellious feeling.

- Bizon: 64 rds, Accurate SMG.

- SVD: 10 rds, Decent semi-auto sniper rifle.
- AEK-971: Accurate Russian Assault Rifle with VERY low recoil in Full Auto.
- M870: 8 rds, Standard Pump Shotgun.
- P90: 50 rds, Advanced SMG with low recoil.
- AK103: 30 rds, Accurate assault rifle that uses the old Ak47 round.
- Galil: 35 rds, A rugged assualt Rifle with decent accuracy.
- RPK: 75 rds, Standard LMG.
- Kriss Super V: 30 rds, An SMG that fires .45 cal and has low recoil.
- SV-98: 10 rds, Accurate Russian sniper rifle that can use a silencer.
- M82A3: 10 rds, Accurate Sniper rifle that is semi-auto and fires .50 cal
- RG-6: 6 rds, semi-auto grenade launcher
- F57: 20 rds, accurate pistol with excellent range and penetration.
