MAG will be the greatest game of all time (and it's a PS3 exclusive!)

I just read the preview article for MAG on Joystiq where they had hands-on time: http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/29/joystiq-hands-on-mag/

They basically say that its the game for Modern Warfare 2 to beat.

I think it will be better than Modern Warfare 2 because of it's ridculously large scale (256 players online!).

I love the SOCOM games too and this sound like it will be like SOCOM but more accessiable and on a giant scale.

Basically, this is shapping up to be the greatest game of all time in my opinion.

It's a big scale , but you won't realise it while playing. It's about your squad and your objectives. Glad to hear they liked it though.

Funny how the Gameinformer article says they're moving away from Moder Warfare, and will have little incommon with it.

I don't think this is getting any huge official hype. Individuals are entitled to hype what they like though.

On topic, this games sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

MAG does sound pretty awesome. Being the greatest game of all time maybe slightly optimistic.

There're always games that're hyped like there's no tomorrow by small but loud groups of particularly rabid fanboys who say stuff like "this'll be the best game EVAR!!!" They are almost invariably proven wrong, but no one wants to take responsibility for them, and since they're usually banned by release, they can't be held accountable either.

Therefore, they're usually associated with the fanboy group that they are on the fringe of.

So, it will be greater than Zelda and any RPG out there ? At last, i waited years for that game to beat any other RPG/adventure

Sort of like Call of Duty servers with ~30+ people baking gernades and throwing them everywhere. It's just not fun. But hey, if they manage to pull it off, my gratitude will be to them. Just like when I was skeptical about Battlefield 2, and ended up loving it.

i highly doubt that....it would have 2 be 3x addicting, find a way for it to be advertized....plus cod has a huge following already
