Poll Main reason why you'll get an Xbox One (and not PS4)? (100 votes)
I'm not doing this to be facetious. I'm genuinely curious why someone would prefer the Xbox One over the PS4?

-Better controller (over PS4, not Wii U)
-Better exclusives (over PS4, not Wii U)
-Better online service
lol, love how people make up things before having a way of knowing if what they say is ture. It's easy to tell that people like you will make the same statements if you ends up being wrong. Credibility seriously lacking.
As always do as you please. "big brother" turned out to be us imo. Fellow citizens have the ability to record, hack, invade as much as any government these days. So that doesn't worry me. I prefer the games available on X1 to start. Halo is a big reason as well as titanfall. And I like having an entertainment hub.
Getting a XBO because if I have to pay for online I want the most reliable service. Also when all games use prt and mantle the XBO will have the advantage. It's a long term investment.
PRT and Mantle are both for PS4 to,i don't even think the xbox one need PRT now or close, the xbox one has 5GB of memory,PRT is a way to save memory that would probably benefit more GPU on PC with 1GB of ram.
The PS4 has its own to the metal API,mantle also works on PS4,so if there is an advantage for using it on xbox one, there would be and even bigger advantage on PS4.
Not getting an Xbox One because I don't feel like spending $900+ on new hardware. games, online etc. any time soon. Planning on getting a PS4 first. If I feel like getting an Xbox One some time down the road, I will but for now I'm sticking with the PS4.
Ryse: Son of 900p. Looks beautiful, realistic combat, innovative theme, made by one of the best devs around, NOT a generic QTE and is an exclusive. If all of this isn't enough for you, i don't know what could you be pleased with.
Launch window games look better on Xbone, only really infamous interest me on PS4 and that is like equal to Dead Rising a game that is good for launch but will forget about it later in the gen. I also like the online infrastructure they have built for Live dedicated servers available for every game is a nice feature. Also I actually like the various multitasking abilities and the potential for it to become an all in one entertainment device if they can strike a deal with cable/satellite companies in the future. Also interested in how they will integrate the experience with other devices with Windows 8 and smart glass.
Although it will more than likely disappoint I am also interested to see if they can actually get something good out of Kinect, motion controls/additional peripherals have all been terrible so far on all systems, so my hopes aren't high but it at least has some potential.
Finally friends are going Xbone so a better community for me personally will be on the Xbone.
Infamous is far above Dead Rising, Far far far far above.
Dead Rising, especially the first one is like one of the most underrated games of the entire generation, and not only on 360 but on all consoles! The only game I finished more than once! Actually thrice...
I'd get PS4 because of harsh economy for its PSN+ rental service as I won't be able to afford to have more than 1 game at once...But thinking of having an entertainment hub which my wife could also use, Xbox One would definetly be finer choice...So I don't know...For the moment Xbox One exclusives are more interesting to me as well, but I know PS4 will have a lot of nice things in store...
If I get one, I'll get the PS4. I don't like either launch libraries, but at least PS4 has stuff I want coming later.
I can manage with my current gen systems, PC, and Wii U for a while.
I'm sure I'll have both eventually, but neither has anything impressive coming out for it within the next half year that I can't get in better quality for my PC.
