How do you check Digital games but going Online. 

Obviously you download using internet, but you can download a digital game then play it offline. Xbone requires a 24 hour online check in because MS want it to, probably good for stopping piracy, but bad for legit buyers with unreliable/no internet.

Are y ou daft or just missing a chromozone? They said that you can share your games library digitally with your 'family' even if they are in another house on another console. That feature alone will require online checks to verify who is using your license at any given time. I buy a game, and my brother can use it. (Obviously we couldnt use it at the same time though). If you don't like that, I DARE you to get a PS4 and keep it offline all generation next gen. I have a feeling though, that you will have your PS4 always conencted anyways right? So why whine and cry about it so much on these forums?

its not about having or not having internet per se, its about MS demanding that you need their authorization in order for you to play the games you already bought and own. its like a mother who locked your xbox and says you can't play unless you do your homework... easy do your homework, right? no, what if the mother is gone so even if you do your homework you still can't play... worst if the mother just grouned you from playing at all (MS called this being banned) so even if you do every assignments you have still you can't play...

in contrast PS4 is liked this ps4 mom: billy do your homework or i won't allow you to play PS4 with your friends. ps4 fanboy: screw you mom im already 40yrs old and i can play alone.

So many butt hurt lemmings, topics like this are so amusing, the are so desperate to clutch at straws and take people that are so obviously talking out of their a** as if they are talking the gospel truth rather than admit that when it comes to next generation consoles they are dead and buried behind the PS4 and the SheepU.  I have to say I feel sorry for hermits as sure that is where most of this whining little children will go when Microsoft finally realises their gamble has failed and they stop production of the XBOne(d) and quit console gaming for good.

they need to imput a system where if you are connected regularly, they stop treating you like a criminal and you can atleast play offline for a day or so. I mean if your online all the time and don't pirate, you should be treated a little better, gosh microsoft throw someone a bone will ya?

If gaming was all digital, then people wouldn't be caring about these "restrictions".  I mean, if the used physical market would go away, then new games would be much cheaper, and devs could make better games on smaller budgets.  The X1 is just ahead of it's time.
