face it, as long as retired people keep buying the Wii to relive their youth by "bowling" again, the Wii isn't going to fail. I don't even want to bring up the new "exercise" game, WiiFit........that game alone will ensure grandpa and grandma continue to buy Wii for the next 5 years.

WiiWare will speed the Wii up, not slow it down. The only thing limited storage space will do it slightly reduce the speed the Wii speeds up by. Get it?

To put things in percpective, I have had Wii since launch and have downloaded about 15 virtual console games and 2 WiiWare games and have used about half of the internal memory. One day I might need an SD card, but I don't see the big deal. I'm sure there are completionists out there that "gotta catchem all" but then you can delete the ones you don't play and download them later at no extra charge. I just don't see the big deal.DaBrainz

and to use the excuse that the cows have been using about their installs that are quickly filling up their hard drive. Just delete games that you arent playing and download them again later. (which you can do for free, the wii keeps track of which games you have downloaded even if you delete the game)

You do realize that you can RE-download Wii software after you have purchased it, right? There is also expansion opporunities via the SD card slot. If the devs for Guitar Hero and Rock Band wanted to, they could allow the game to access songs on the SD card and/or the Wii console. Nintendo already did something like this by allowing custom soundtracks in Excite Truck. Space isn't much of an issue - delete, redownload, manage your space. It's not that difficult.

I would try to say something but everyone else said things I were about to say, but one thing that I have to comment on is the TC writing skills. I read most of your post and they make no since. If you have a ds they have word coach games that might help you so what you write can at least be understandable.

Lol is all I have to say, this thing fails on so many levels its not even funny. If something as silly as online stuff like this would ruin the Wii, then surely it would have happened by now. Sure I agree the memory is abit of an issue, but I'm sure Nintendo will have some sort of answer for us shortly in the form of an external hard drive that uses the USB port on the back of the Wii. Complaing about space on this is certainly funny as well since I have a number of classic games (mostly 64 titles) and still have plenty of room left over, so unless you plan on purchasing anything everything Nintendo has for its online services I don't think you'll be hurting anytime soon, and if you do fill it up and have to delete a game, you can always come back and download it later without having to input any info at all to get it.

Also if this idiot can't figure out the "orange Mario" is from the original Super Mario Bros. on the 8-bit Nintendo he needs to be shot. And the whole "Oh my god I can't play any games while this downloads" is so sad since it takes a few minutes at most to get a game onto the console. Do yourself a favor during this time, get up, walk around, get something to eat, visit the bathroom, maybe take out the trash, do something constructive! The things people find to complain about these days are so sad, god forbid you wait a few minutes to DOWNLOAD a game onto your console. Sure its nice to go ahead and do something else, but its not like you are losing tons of play time whenever the Wii is downloading a game.

Also if Nintendo is going to fail cause its going to run out of the room then the PS3 is already sunk with its 4-6 gig installs and 10 minutes spent installing the game. You'll fill up your PS3 hard drive rather quickly with more and more games requiring installs in order to play. I'm sorry but this whole thing fails, all consoles will run out of space at some point with their built in hard drives, the only question is how does the companies (Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo) plan on fixing this when the time comes?
