This is so exciting. I think I've seen about 5 of these major announcement announced threads since I have been in System Wars and not a one has panned out to anything I can even remember as being slightly important. All the major pwnage megat0ns came out of nowhere like DMC4 for 360.

Prepare for an influx of game related suicides.

An announcement coming from a 3rd party site called 360 fanboy. Which got its information from another 3rd party site called gamertag radio, which got its info from a "cryptic" instant message chat. Sorry, i just had to laugh at that.

even if it is true i wish companies would stop hyping announcements. it almost always, backfires.

Somebody heard this from a Microsoft employee in an "instant message chat"... AKA no proof anything will be announced except for the words of the person reporting the rumor.

My guess is that Microsoft has built a submarine. Or a duck. What does that have to do with gaming you say? You get to control it through Xbox Live.

sounds pretty reasonable since it'll be at a pacman event, and Namco does both pacman and tekken. 

free xbox live and for those who already paid for it this year gets ms points credit to spend

Update: We've learned from Aaron Greenberg that the announcement will take place tomorrow between 12:30 and 1:30 pm Eastern Time. And, before this gets out of hand, we've heard rumblings that this announcement won't be huge, but that it should be relatively cool nonetheless.mikasa

"Relatively cool" translation: not worth obsessing over until 12:30 tomorrow.

Pretty much just another overblown nothing by a gaming site wanting extra hits. The last announcement was gonna be another huge industry changing one and then boom it had zero to do with the gaming industry.

The Microsoft Spokesman behind this is in charge of XBLA so its gonna be some Xbox live thing.
