OK, I've got the inside info from my friend's sister's girlfriend's brother-in-law's roommate:

1.  MS Gaming Studios will announce that Adam 'Pac-Man' Jones will play a MAJOR role in the 360 version of GTA IV.

2.  The HD-DVD add-on will price drop to $50.00 AND I STILL WON'T BUY ONE!

3.  The 120GB hard disk add-on will price-drop to $100, which will be $50.00 more than it should be.

4.  MS Gaming Studios will hire David Jaffe to make bad Live Arcade games.

5.  Starcraft Ghost will be an XBox 720 launch title.

Microsoft will permit 3party hardware makers to make their consoles using xbox 360 operating system and their first partners are "samsung, panasonic, LG and toshiba, all will come with hd-dvd build in and the release of the new controller with montion sensor.

Pretty much just another overblown nothing by a gaming site wanting extra hits. The last announcement was gonna be another huge industry changing one and then boom it had zero to do with the gaming industry.

The Microsoft Spokesman behind this is in charge of XBLA so its gonna be some Xbox live thing.

OMG.............. mirosoft finally made a 360 that dosent brake all the time .......... OMG

but jokes aside it takes a few years for a new console to be devolped and a x-box 740 wouldn't have anything better then the normal 360 because in the 2 years its bine out not ALL that much has changed as far as graphics are going. I figure that its 1 of 4 things

1) the 360 had finally jumped into the motion-sensing capability of the other consoles and is going to have motion senceing capability in a new remote.

2) Backwards compatibility with PC games :)

3) the 720s coming out , only difference is a blu-ray player
