It's actually going to be tonight for those of us in the US.

I'm expecting a storage solution (more like demanding), Kid Icarus, Pikmin 3, and probably some third party games. We'll see though.

The single thing left that would make me buy a Wii would be a new Zelda, and even then, it would have to be OOT/TP style, and not Wind Waker, not so much artstyle wise, but I don't like spending 95% of a zelda game in a boat.110million

Not really. I didn't expect much of E3 cause it was obvious from last year's E3 that Nintendo didn't consider it a gamer's convention anymore.

I am, however, expecting more from this convention because last year it was this convention where Nintendo announced Sonic in Brawl and Capcom releasing Monster Hunter Tri exclusively for the Wii.

Also, the conference starts in roughly 4 hours.

If it's not a new Phoenix Wright game, I will condemned Nintendo to the lowest pits of Hell.

Though it would lessen the pain if they showed a new Zelda, Pikmin, or Luigis Mansion.

Phoenix Wright is from Capcom :) But that would be awesome if they announced a new one. Actually, I'm pretty excited about that new Miles Edgeworth game that they were developing. I bet that gets announced either tonight or at TGS.

Isn't that what everyone does? 4 Halo games, Fable 2, Gears of War 2, and Banjo and Kazooie is what is wanted from MS. God of War 3, Dark Cloud 3, Ratchet and Clank, etc. are what is wanted from Sony. Why can't people ask for games that they enjoy especially since Zelda is one of the most epic franchises around?

God of War 3, Dark Cloud 3, Ratchet and Clank, etc. are what is wanted from Sony. Why can't people ask for games that they enjoy especially since Zelda is one of the most epic franchises around?

the sequels you just named (save for banjo) all came out last gen. nintendo's been reusing it's main franchises since the nes. don't you think something new would be good for a chance?

I dont think they will show anything big though. E3 is where they make the big announcements. Expect dissapointment....again. They will probably show off new games in Wii Sports resort, and new stuff on Wii Music.

That's besides the point i was making. Of course we would all wet our panties at the thought of a new zelda or metroid coming next year. but something new is always appreciated. there's no excuse nintendo can't make a new IP this gen. they have the time and resources. The only new IP they've made this gen was the wii series, and anyone can honestly tell those didn't have the time and effort spent on like their main franchises.

also, i'm very well aware nintendo made new IPs last gen. but that's last gen, i'd like to focus on this one.

They're making Disaster: Day of Crisis. That's a new series for them. There will be others as this gen matures. I still don't see why you're dumping on that person for expecting Zelda.

cool down buddy. I was basically saying their new games will only appeal to a small amount of people. ALso MS provided more than just Halo this gen.

And they only appeal to a small amount of people? How many is a small amount of people? Pikmin and Animal Crossing has sold to millions of people. Is that a small amount? Or are you just damage controlling right now?

And yeah, MS provided Halo Wars, Peter Jackson's Halo, Ryan's Halo, and maybe even another Halo. But that is besides the point. Just because those games might seem uninteresting to you doesn't mean that they aren't interesting to others. I find Halo uninteresting and that hasn't stopped gamers from getting the games.

I also want to hear a neat story about some random old lady falling and hurting her leg skateboarding and how Wii Skate is a much safer alternative. She can enjoy her Xtreme hobby in the safety of her living room. Available this holiday season.
