its a great game and the only issue I had with it were the technical glitches which often caused my game to freeze up for a few seconds or crash

to avoid the lack of challenge play the game on hard and re-load to your previous save after you die (like you would do in most games) and it becomes very difficult

imo its the best game so far this generation (which isn't a particularly big feat given the lack of excellent games so far)

Turn the difficulty up. I am playing it through on easy it is way easier than normal. Normal difficulty really is much harder than easy, it is a big gap.

The problem I have with the game is the inconsistent frame rate stutters and freezes. Also, I agree with a few points. I fell intot the hype, but I think I've found myself realizing the flaws in this game are pretty depressing...

My first playthrough (busy with it) is on hard, pure evil, without ever using vita chambers, and i can't complain about the difficulty much. I don't really understand why so many people try tackle it on that area. The game doesn't seem that easy at all. (i'm busy finding big daddies in theater part)

Hacking does get tedious, and AI is not that amazing, but their pathfinding is pretty great, and at least they run away, camp, and try to get to water when on fire.

Hmm... funny. I disagree with every point you've made. In fact, take the opposite of each of your points, and you'll see where I stand.

I would give this game a 9.2. i wasn't affected by the whole respawn thing because I just load my game whenever I die. This game is a good game for me because I like to kill some splicers, reload my game, and kill the same splicers using a different strategy. I think it compares to Deus Ex, but is not as good. The only thing I would've liked better would be to have more plasmids in the original product (I know, they are coming out with new ones on XBL) and a different hacking minigame, but overall, I loved the game.
