Except third party titles have actually been selling pretty well on Wii considering the stiff competition from Nintendo's games :o

Please, define sheep, so I can see the overall perspective of this........... Are sheep simply fans of Nintendo? Or more like.......... Lets used the word dedicated fans that only played on Nintendo consoles all of their life?

The Wii, like the Gamecube, is going to end up being a 3rd party curse for developers. RockStar is going to regret the time they took making Manhunt 2 for Wii. I really don't think sheep want that kinda game on their system. I really don't. I'll happily play it...but I've always gotten the vibe that sheep don't care too much for ultraviolent games in the 1st place.

If they did, they would buy a PS2 and/or Xbox. Gamecube didn't have nearly as many M-rated, violent titles as PS2 or Xbox. Wii is also selling to people who have never played games b4. Those type of people are probably more prone to liking Wii Sports and minigames...not ultraviolent, bloody games.

RockStar will regret this decision, and will probably never consider making another game for a Nintendo console ever again. PS2 version though will sell really well, of couse.

Ok, I get what you're saying, but 3rd party games just don't sell all that well on Nintendo consoles....especially M-rated titles. Geist sold terribly...it was Miyamoto produced even. RE4 actually sold OK, but Capcom feared it wouldn't and ported it to PS2. Why? Because the 1st RE game that came to Gamecube, as well as the susequent ports, didn't sell all that well. Eternal Darkness? That sold really badly.

Actually, both REmake and RE4 sold around 1.5 million individually, one of the few 3rd party games on the Wii to do so.

Actually... it's going to sell amazing on the Wii.

Why you ask? Check out all of the topics on it on this page... everyone is talking about it.

Most violent game ever taken to the next level with the Wiimote.

Sure to raise a few eyebrows and create a lot of hype, which cooinicidently people like you are only adding to.

[QUOTE="Silvereign"]

[QUOTE="GunSmith1_basic"]i dont think so. Why? because this game has that "it". It's the reason that Jack is so upiddy. It's because kids will be talking about the crazy-ass murder simulator on the wii. It is the forbidden game. Hardcores will buy it because it's unique (ign guys were crazy for it), and casuals might buy it for the same reason. I dont know if it will sell platinum, but i'm sure that between the ps2 version and the wii version, the game will do well.Michael85

What Hardcores? Kids, Moms, Aunts, and new female gammers mostly on the WII....

Probably the ones you're arguing with right now, unless you've just been oblivious to all of the Wii sales thread.

Trust me: casuals and non-gamers don't go out of their way to care about how well Wii is selling. So who do you think makes those threads?

Wow a couple hundred sheep on SW :roll:
