Who else downloaded this demo or bought it and still thinks this game is awful? IGN says the PS3 version chugs but the 360 demo runs like crap too.....VC gets it wrong again. Lets hope MLB 07: The Show is a real baseball game.

Uhhh, I have to say the 360 version plays great (I have the game). The gameplay rocks, just like the graphics. Why hate?...musicalmac
the gameplay isnt that much different than 2k6. The messed with animations, graphics and presentation more than anything else. It still reminds me too much of 2K6.
I mean 2K makes the best NBA game out there. Their college ball is pretty good too. But SCEA and 989 cranked out an AAAE here at Gamespot. It was well deserved too.
well from the get go the jerseys dont move like that in real life. The presentation does get you pump when the batter approaches, but it looks to get old in a week (problems with baseball games). The Gameplay is still crap. Overall the presentation and online should keep you coming back for more.

If you're being honest, it makes me wonder how much you played 2k6. I played that game to death, and this is head-over-heels better. Much more responsive, much smoother, and far more polished. They're similar games because they're 2K games. Saying it isn't much different than 2k6 is a flat out lie.

No u gotta try the next gen version, its imo a good representation of what next gen sports should be.

How do they implement the Sixaxis?
you push the controller outwards from you. So youre like holding it with two hands against your stomach and you just shove out to swing the bat. 1up in a preview described it as pushing a bowl of soup away because it smelled bad. Yet then in the review they said it was good. To me, that's the most non immersive way to use six axis for gameplay. I'd feel more in the game if I just used the stick

NBA2k7 on last-gen consoles was crappy. My brother a huge NBA 2K fan, origianally bought his 360 because it was far superior than the xbox version graphics and gameplay.
Madden wasent even close. I hope All-Pro football 2K8 is a great return for the series.
Never really liked their football games too arcady.
no way dude, the most realistic, and fun gameplay ever! great controls too! the only things i like in madden are the soundtracks
I dont like how ur guarentee to break a tackle every play or how when u pass the ball for some reason everything seems too slow down, i dont know i just like Madden 05 better.
