Your arguement doesn't make sense. Gaming is a pastime just like any other hobby. For instance I also play golf. However, since I play golf that doesn't mean I need to commit to myself to Ping or Callaway for my equipment choice. In, fact I may use Ping Irons, Callaway Woods, and a Taylor Made putter. Each one serves a specific role to round out my total experience and fulfillment as far as the game goes. Same with gaming. Having a Wii, 360, and PS3 in my "bag" can really give me an opportunity to be totally fulfilled in all facets of gaming.ramey70

why should i if i don't have a preference one way or another?i like the 360 and all but that doesn't mean im going to defend it.

Next gen hasn't started for me yet. My PC is obsolete and I don't own any next gen consoles.

thats basically it,unlike fanboys we like everything,no matter who made it,and on what system it's on,when resistance came out i actully said it looked like a good game.

I used to be a manticore until the Xbox and 360 came to the market.

EDIT: I'm not a hater, the only reason for me to buy one is Gears and that doesn't justify the $400 purchase .

I was manti last gen and I intend to carry that over into the next gen. At the moment I have the Xbox 360 and Wii and I'll be picking up the PS3 in the coming months, when it begins to pick up in terms of really good, quality games.

I classify myself as a Mantilemming because I defend the 360 the most here in System Wars, but I have much respect for the other two as well.

Manticores are a myth and most of the people that say that are mantis are hypocrites. Even when I had and loved all systems I prefered the PS brand and PC. 

I have fond memories of  Sega Saturn, NES and the NEO GEO but both PS1 and 2 delievered a huge ammount of AAA titles. I can't deny it and don't have a problem accepting it.

Still, my preference is always based on GAMES.

You admit you prefer a system but you are not close minded like all fanboys; that for me is good enough to be a gamer. What I'm trying to say is that some manticores talk like they are higher beings and see all systems equally. I don't buy that crap.
