For the first two scenarios, Marcus would have to get close enough. For the last two scenarios, Marcus could easily be disrupted with Zeus' Thunderbolts or Typhon's Bane. As soon as Kratos got within 15 feet of Marcus, the COG soldier would be as good as dead, given the reach of Kratos' Blades of Chaos/Athena.

The only scenario where Marcus would have any kind of chance would be if they started on opposite ends of a wide-open plain with no cover. In any other scenario, Kratos wins.
