WOW, incredible, the Wii at it's max probably.cobrax80
Just like Sunshine was the GC max ? I doubt it.... Nintendo seems to know how to pace it's development, so that the games at the end look better then the games in the first year or two.

That's true with every console. But this game was in development for many many years, even before the gamecube was released.
WOW, incredible, the Wii at it's max probably.cobrax80That...isn't quite a good thing at this point. The game looks great thanks to the color, everything else IMO looks below average.

the mario 128 demo was it's first form then development moved on slowly from there.

It really doesn't make much diffrence how long they were planning it... at least not to the graphics.

That "development" was very minimal. And it wouldn't have any effect on graphics, more on concept.
How is that an upgrade. It looks exactly the same as the preE3 screens.NobuoMusicMaker
Looks a little cleaned up, I think Mario is less jaggy.

I'm sure there was actual work in the game's development, then again i don't work for Nintendo so we don't really know.

You probably should wait for the 480 res of these pictures. I can certainly see some jaggles in those lower res pics. Now if they were blown up, you would see it clearly.
It looks fantastic for any system, although it'll probably suffer or resolution reasons on larger screens, nnavidson
Yeah your right, i cant belive how bad the wii looks on my 42" LG i have to sit really far away from it, re4 looks so bad that it makes my eyes hurt.
That looks great for a small picture... but will it look good on a big screen? skixwolf
The pic of mario underwater is a close up and it still looks pretty good. I doubt the camera gets that close often but it should still look pretty good even on a bigger screen.

Those two right there look straight up next-gen.
And by "next-gen", I mean cows and lemmings' shallow definition of "next-gen".
if i didn't know anything about this game and someone told me it was for the 360, i would believe them.

No, no, no. This is a mis-conception. Miyamoto said in an interview that Mario 128 was more of a concept that split two ways. The concept of controlling many small people was turned into Pikmin, and the concept of platforming on spheres was integratred into Mario Galaxy. The Mario 128 demo was nothing more than an early concept of Galaxy. It wasn't an early build.[QUOTE="Michael85"][QUOTE="jedigemini"]beautiful... never looked better

Thank you for singling out my post amongst the monumental mountain of crap regarding Killzone 2 or Halo 3 and how crappy they are. I appreciate it and from now on I'll be less touchy.
