So it finally coming lol. Never gotten into any of the vs Capcom games, but I might give this one a try. It looks like Dante might be in it too which is a plus for me.:P

This is good news although possibly the 4th-5th thread on it. :P it concerns me that the game will have "over 30 characters". What? MvC2 has 56 characters. Now, I realize they are using a new engine, but this is very disappointing if the final roster doesn't exceed MvC2. I know millions of fans will probably agree as well. No excuses Capcom, the bar has been raised, don't go backwards!

What if I go to quickmatch and I play someone that didn't buy that character?

Will they divide up the servers per character? It sounds messy. That's why they did what they did with Super SF4 (released a stand alone disc vs. DLC )...but if they do release DLC, and no not many buys certain characters, I wonder how that's going affect the online structure of the game? Unlike skins in LBP, Lost Planet 2, I would assume MvC3 DLC would have characters with different moves, etc.

Sounds like a tough problem. If they do a Super Street Fighter 4 type of deal, and realise MvC4 with more characters, that makes my first posts complaint more valid.

I think for sure character costume DLC is a given though.

I guess we'll see.:P

No megaman = fail. That and a Q2 2011 release window. Come on, Capcom can do quicker than that.

Also with DLC wondering around, I think there gonna slim the characters down and just add them as dlc, which I hope doesn't happen. This is capcom though

I didn't know this was to be the official stickied MvC2 thread (since there was so many), but only edited because I said I owned Marvel vs. Capcom 3, when I meant Marvel Vs. Capcom 2.

My post on page one was long done before page two came along.

The miswording (MvC3) I noticed when Jakarai quoted me about five posts above, you can see that's the only change in the edit.

I kinda wish they didn't go with Chris though; I personally would've prefered "Leon" or "Wesker"(that guy would definitely be the most suitable RE character for this game) over Chris but it's all good--I hope they're at least planning to keep Jill this time around as well.

For all we know Wesker could still make it in. I do believe one of the developers said that we simply won't believe how huge the roster is. I think they may try and throw everyone they can in this game.

I for one plan on going and pre-ordering this ASAP. I never owned either of the other Vs. games but I played them a bit back in the day and they were fun as hell. This is just going to be epic I can feel it. Might have to go pick up SSF4 to hold me over though....
