[QUOTE="VendettaRed07"] SF4 balanced...?? You gotta be kidding... Anyway, as long as they tone down Sentinel and take out Cable's multiple laser beams then I'm settled. They can keep Storm and Magneto and other top tier characters as it is. As for me, I hope they don't change any properties on Strider and Doom. I'm also hoping that they add more characters from Darkstalkers. I'm pretty sure them guys can stand up to the same level as the Marvel characters.omg.. PLEASE.... PLEASEE.... Be balanced!!!! D: MVC 2 is one of my favorite games ever.. but it is seriously pretty much broken, hopefully this will be as balanced as SF4

it is.. other than sagat being a little to strong, balrog being a bit too unpredictable, and sakura and vega being too weak.. its pretty much all even from there.
even then still I beat some sagats in G1 with sakura... it would actually be physically impossible for something like that to happen in MVC2.. Roll against Cable in a high level of play??? LOL
Outstanding.. :D
Capcom has really been on the ball this gen.. (at least IMO).
Kind bad for wii owners but look at the bright side.. by the time this game hits, the 360 and the PS3 will be cheaper ($150 vs. $250 respectively) that means you could pick up a system that plays this game (and about 1000 more great games the wii doesn't get :D:|:().
Too bad I have more great Wii gamesI'm curious about the fighting mechanics they are going to use. Are they going to stick with the 3v3 teams? Or will they switch back to the 2v2 playstyle founded in TvC? Heck, I think it would be amazing if they incorporated 1v1, tag-team, and 3v3. At this point, they did say they were aiming for 30+ characters, so it seems a little less likely that they will do the 3v3 scheme :(
The only way I'll enjoy this game on the 360 is by using myarcade stick because their controller sucks for MvC2. PS3's controller will be fine because it's more suitable for this game, but I still prefer the arcade stick. On another note... I really hope they keep the game play style the same because it's not broken so don't fix it, just add to it, but I think somethings gonna get screwed up big time just because I have been waiting forever for this game!
It would be no comp to MvC2 if they were to minimize the characters to 30!!! That's one of the main reason why MvC2 was so damn great, the massive variety of characters to choose from. If they go 30 I will be very very disappointed.I'm curious about the fighting mechanics they are going to use. Are they going to stick with the 3v3 teams? If they go 30 I will be very very disappointed. I think this time around, if the character amount is smaller compared to MVC2, I think it has to come down to licensing and balance issues. After watching their interview, the guy speaking talked about how each company is very different than what they were when 2 came out, and that Capcom has to specifically negotiate and ask Marvel for permission in whatever characters they use. So in terms of licensing, I think it will be a little tougher this time around. In terms of balance, I think we can all agree while MVC2 was an amazing game, there were many balance issues in the game due to absurd tier levels of characters and a few broken mechanics here and there.[QUOTE="D00nut"]

SF4 is alot more balanced than MvC2. :? People have to ban characters just to get a tournament started.
Anyway, cant wait, i'll be using spiderman probably.
I am gonna call it now.
Game has maybe slightly over 30 fighters
Over time though Capcom will release and additonal 30+ fighters all for $2.99 a piece or probably some kind of pack of 5 for $9.99.
This game will be hit hard with DLC add ons.
Hope it plays as well as MvC2 rather than slow like SF4.Dibdibdobdobo
I fear the same too it'd steal the first place in big letdowns from Cap , which now belongs to the action-adventure that is RE5.
[QUOTE="Ratchet_Fan8"]the last one made me hate crapcom, marvel and retro games i never want to see this ever again...ever. PicesRetro >>>> Modern nice opinnion, not all retro games are better than modern really...
I cant stand any of CrapComs games,i gave Res5 a try, hoping for a nice horror with good gun gameplay...and what i got was just grapyx with nice gun gameplay.....but no horror!thats basically the only real "evil"in that game. Megaman is not my type of games,X7 killed it all for me,MV.SCrapcom2 made me hate retro like i said..

Lol at the Wii owners bragging about Tatsunoku vs. Capcom.
They just got pwned.
Samurai_Xavier
Pwned for having a great game? Okay then
Also, this looks rather awesome, can't wait to see how it turns out.
Pwned they got a spin-off, like always.
Spin off of what? It's a completely separate game, and a great one at that. This is not some kind of "victory", it is a great game being announced, don't make it into a contest.[QUOTE="D00nut"]

It all depends on your skill of using them and when I played I always used 95% of the roster. This is because I can utilize the characters good and it keeps me fresh on them also. It always amazed people when I can pick 3 servabots and just rape them and that was just playing around not being serious. To me that was my competitions biggest flaw,...underestimating the weaker characters.[QUOTE="Pices"][QUOTE="ItsBriskBaby"]It would be no comp to MvC2 if they were to minimize the characters to 30!!! Well, you're in the minority. Wolverine has been hugely nerfed, commando and juggernaut have broken assists, cable and magneto are broken as heck, ironman and his stupid infinite combo...About 5-15% of the roster is useful while the other 95-85% are weak, the game has so much flaws (the terrible music with the exception of a track or two, uninspirational stages, abyss is a joke of a boss [Apocalypse, Cyber akuma and onsluaght ftw] and the annoying announcer). Play Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, thats my best Marvel-Capcom crossover game.

[QUOTE="ghost392"]^ I never heard of that game and its Capcoms fault for sales because they dont advertise enough like they do for their 360/PS3 games-Exclusiive-
You can't have every game on your system, or else their wouldn't be a point in having 3 different consoles on the market. I'm sure the 360/PS3 owners want TvC as well, but guess what, it's on the wii. Besides, if you are that desperate for the game, buy a PS3/360 or play it at the arcades.
True but if they can put Dead Rising on the Wii they can put this and I dont know if this will follow the 3v3 format with only 30 characters hopyfully it is atleast 2v2 and not just a 1 on 1 fighter
