Have you played the game? My little brother owns it and it sucks....and its multi-disc
The first one's story is great. However, the AI and combat was really bad. I'm not sure if I'm really hyped up for this one.Lethalhazard
GAH!!! But they've improved both soooo much (apparently) read the interviews, watch the gameplay videos, buy the game!!! BUY IT!!!

Hell yes I played the game, but now you're dragging this off topic. I'm just speaking from a general perspective.[QUOTE="Lethalhazard"]The first one's story is great. However, the AI and combat was really bad. I'm not sure if I'm really hyped up for this one.JackMcSexbeard

That'd be awesome if what you say is true :).I don't think it's so much that the game is longer than mass effect 1, so much as the content will be notably improved. I.E., less repeating textures, stronger variation in side quests, better animations, more dialogue options, etc etc. I think Bioware already said it's about as long as Mass Effect 1 was.

Yeah I'm getting it for 360 instead of my PC. Having to swap the disc 1 time is nothing to complain about, anyone whom feels it is has some major laziness issues.Meh,I´m getting it on PC,so 2 disk install is pretty standard stuff.
As for the 360...

From everything I've seen and read combat has been totally improved as well as the cover system. It's become far smoother, more intuitive and they've added tons of small additions such as numerous animations, improvments to tactical elements and smother action between using biotics or switching ammunition. This now is being touted as a strength of the game.
JackMcSexbeard
Well that's good then. I guess I'll... give it a look.
Oh and btw, damn great username/avatar you got there. Hilarious.
Thank you, oh and you better give it a look or else a very intoxicated and belligerent Mel Gibson will be paying you a visit.
That's it I'm buying 10 copies.
What!? That's it, i'm not not buying this game. That absoluetly not sucks! I hope they don't fix this right away! There's nothing more that can not annoy a console gamer, and that is to not not have to not install... is that the right amount of nots? If they don't not fix this i'm not not buying it for sure!Phazevariance... my brain hurts... totally can't wait for this to come out
Great! I read the books, played the first, and pre-ordered the second. Now I have to swap discs?! Whats next? Actually pushing buttons to turn on the TV!cainetao11They're so evil they want you to do everything. :P

True.Dude, I don't even buy that they are that lazy. hey just want to be on the "superior" console side. I judge a console by it's purpose....playing games. Yeah. And I have a cousin with a PS3 who says Uncharted 2 is repetitive, has a weak story, bland gameplay, oh and the graphics aren't as impressive as screenshots and the media makes it out to be ;)

I knew I should of put the word "majority" in Bold. and besides odst is a good game anyways
Multiple DVD installs on the PC have been around almost since DVD games were introduced. Remember the era of 5-6 CD's per game?
Yeah, something I don't want to go back to. While it's not a big issue, disk swapping is still a step back.Multiple DVD installs on the PC have been around almost since DVD games were introduced. Remember the era of 5-6 CD's per game?

lol, and multiple installs is the future??navyguy21Nope, as I said in the other thread installs can be bad as well. They are both inconveniences however since this game is not on PS3 it's a 360 issue which won't be present on the PC version btw.

I was saying I don't buy that the complainers are actually lazy, They just want to feel their console of choice is superior. I don't judge consoles buy disc format, but by whether it plays games I wish to play is my point. My PS3 and 360 succeed at this for me...... Sorry I expressed my opinion, dude........

Well, i actually like installs. I wish we could install ALL our games, on both consoles. That would eliminate so many problems. I bet anything that MS goes that route with the next console.[QUOTE="navyguy21"]lol, and multiple installs is the future??Dystopian-X
