Mass Effect 2 is coming soon. How will Sony respond?

So Mass Effect 2 is coming soon. How do you think Sony will respond? Will they release a RPG of equal quality in 2010?

Sony will say: "...what?"

Nothing, They will hopelessly watch as The Awesomeness of MASS EFFECT2 runs them by :P

they may play the game on their super PC, you know in order to prove that the game can be played on other platform other than x360.

There's absolutely nothing that Sony can do to stop Mass Effect 2, in my opinion.

It's going to gain hype, be released, and rock the socks off everybody (if it doesnt't fail).

Well sony doesint have a wrpg coming out anytime soon. So they cant respond.

Yeah, because Mass Effect is SUCH a big deal they HAVE to counter it or give up.

They didn't even bat an eye when the Halo monsters came out, I doubt they will do anything for a game that isn't even an MS owned exclusive.

sequals on 360 typicaly sell better than their first counterparts because of the hype and name that it has gained

examples are Assassins Creed2 and Left for Dead2 which are selling far better than the first in its first sales

Im trying to be objective but the fact remains that not even one big title is being released for the PS3 in the same week as ME2

Just like they sat back when Bioshock was released, awaiting its incredible awsomeness on their console.

ME 2 will be no diffirent.

because ME sold great, and the majority loved that adventure, which makes them very interested in purchasing ME2, it'll gain great hype

Mass Effect 2 = Mass Effect = Very slow combat, weird looking characters, poor dialogue, bad environments and overall boring game that thank god was also short. Sony has nothing to worry about.-shmelo-

No they don't. It would be more correct to say that MS owns 95% of the OS market and even that may be stretching. With Chrome and Apple's OS I see MS's hold on the OS market slipping. Oh, and just for those that don't know, OS =/= PC.

ahhh, it all makes sense... you could've just said that youre clearly threatened by this game that it will most likely be better than Final Fantasy 13. I assure you the story and gameplay will be.

It looked tremendous when Sony previewed it, but Japanese critics didn't care for it (it's been out over there a while now). I'm curious though... reminds me of Xenogears kinda'.

Which of course wont sell anywhere near as good, so a ps3 port is unlikely. Unless Mass 1 goes with it of course.
