Sorry, but this must be a joke post. Last a checked, there are STILL plenty of people playing Demon's Souls, and with a level cap of 756, I'd say people will be playing it for a while now.

I'm not sure, Mass Effect 2 will be a tough act to follow. I regret selling my 360 seeing how I loved the first one and the second one will be amazing as well I'm sure.

Mass Effect is so overated :? Dragon Age: Origins is a MUCH MUCH better game.

Seems to me like someone got their ass handed to them by the game one too many times, lol. Even Xbots admit that Demon's Souls looks like a great game, and the majority of the people who played it agree that it is fantastic. To say the game was noting but hype is funny, because there was hardly ever ANY coverage of the game before it scored a 9 on multiple websites. I'd say it was the definition of sleeper-hit > hype.

The only way they could counter it is with KOTOR 3 exclusive on PS3 with Chuck Norris as one of the voice actors. Anything less would just embarrass them further.Sir_Graham

ME was a great game don't get me wrong but when did the ME series become the be all to end all? Sony wont even care next year is looking great and this year was great too.

They don't need to counter. It's just another game release, like many, many more that have happened before.

ME2 will be awesomeness wrapped in awesome bacon though.

There's absolutely nothing that Sony can do to stop Mass Effect 2, in my opinion.

It's going to gain hype, be released, and rock the socks off everybody (if it doesnt't fail).

Demon Souls is the best RPG out right now and if ME2 is as good then good for 360 fans since all there RPG's suck. At least Sony RPG's get better reviews or better versions of 360's lame rpg's. Demon Soul's had no hype around it and it blew everyone away, so much hype around ME2 that it has a good chance of failing

The bland environments, broken inventory and party managment, poor scenarios, and broken battle system as well kept this game being mediocre in my book. Funny lookingcharacterdesigns, some I couldn't take seriouosly.The story is its only saving grace, that and some of its environments had a good feeling to it.

This being said, I hope the second one sells, because if it does, it will be as cheap as the first one (about $8.99) and then I will buy it. Will probably rebuy the first oneused soon again. Im gettingpretty bored lately. That is unti Bayonetta comes out.

Sequels to excellent games are usually sold more then the original. And considering the Xbox 360's lack of good RPG's, it's a given.

examples are Assassins Creed2 and Left for Dead2 which are selling far better than the first in its first sales
