What's there to read?
it was a ridiculous thing to say and I dont blame him for sigging it.
ME2 has a entertaining sci fi storyline,...nothing more..
Yet you act like it's the video game version of "Requiem for a Dream". or some ****
I guess you weren't paying attention to the story...in fact, many different themes and subjects are brought up in the series....the importance of cooperation, vigilantism, racism, the importance of family, dealing with loss, idealism vs cynicim (the entire morality system), the ethics of science and research, the struggles and sacrifice of men and women in the military, effects of horrendous cruelty on someone (Talitha and Jack, for example), and much more.In fact, the main narrative concept of the series is the human condition and the positive and aspects of the human species. They use relationships with other species to highlight this fact. in fact, the Reapers are just a plot device, not the real story and I would not be suprised if their motives (would be revealed truly in the third) are based around the games main narrative concept. The fact is Mass Effect is more than just a entertaining sci fi story,,,and thats why its critically acclaimed. If you want just an entertaining sci fi story, play Killzone.
I was paying attention.....it was a standard science fiction story.Sorry.
The funniest part about this is...you actually take yourself seriously.
standard sci fi works can have significant relevance.....look at Star Trek. Mass Effect is far more relevant in its story that 99% of games out there.
