Hmmm two completely different styles of game. I'm excited for both.

I'm curious as to FFXIII's lead characters personality and back story. Looks to be the best lead since Zidane.

2 of the best RPGs ever made being released so closely together.

Gonna be sinking alot of time into these, for sure.

Spring is going to be most excellent, I simply cannot wait to pour hours into both games.

Xbox 360 gets both. :)

Final fantasy looks great during the videos, but the battle scenes don't look that good for a next generation final fantasy.

LOL yeah commandor Shepard would put the girl over his knee and spank her. LOL FF13 will still be good though. I bet the alfro brother in the game will give it some charm.

What are bangs? Plus, Lightning is pretty badass. Obviously nothing like Wrex or Shephard, but shes better then Liara and the rest of those losers.

The hair towards the frontof your head are bangs... you don't have sisters, a girlfriend/wife, a.... mother? How do you not know what "bangs" are?

FFXIII looks cleaner due to it's art sty-leHowever ME is far more detailed, and those pics are a little jaggy yes, but the FFXIII ones include CGI, ME has no CGI

Mass Effect 2 for me. I really dont like JRPGs and ME was amazing.

Yep, North Americans tend to use it. I moved from the UK to Canada, and they call the fringe "bangs". Takes some getting used to :P

i played the first one on PC, and it was pretty OK, demons souls is the best rpg hands down

Both look like cool games, but Mass Effect 2 blows FF13 out of the water graphically. I don't give a damn how good your CG looks. FF13's in-game is almost laughable compared to Mass Effect 2.

Both look great but since I'm kind of a FF fanboy I'll be getting XIII first. But after that I'll definitely sink my teeth into ME (1 & 2 since I haven't played the first one yet :) )

the mass effect 2 graphics are way better than FFXIII's graphics if you compare the ingame ones.

all those ME2 screenshots are ingame. but only the 2nd screenshot of the FFXIII ones are in game, the other 3 are CGI unless you thought they were using x32 AA... lol

good try TC on trying to make this 1 sided but by looking at the 2nd screenshot, you clearly see how plain the environment looks, just look at the grass, which is a flat texture.

Both of these games are at the top of my games to get in 2010.

How about rather than judging on whether or not a game is good by how "jaggy" it is or how breathtaking it looks we play a game on whether or not its fun and has a good story? I'm amazed at how the smallest graphical differences (Batman AA being the main one) determine which game or version of a game people get. I guess I'm one of those old game players who chooses gameplay/content over graphics =/

Lets see the PC version of Mass Effect 2, eh? The first game looked and ran so much better on PC it wasn't even funny.

Mass effect 2 for sure, the last 3 Final Fantasies were overrated garabage, FF13 looks the same.

Impossible to compare the two, but I say Final Fantasy XIII. I like the genre more, and Final Fantasy XIII is one of my favorite games, if my favorite.

Cant wait. I wasnt all that hyped for FF13 until the TGS videos came out. Looks like a ton of fun. The best part is Ill be able to get both on my 360 DAY ONE. Subject Zero is a freaking badass!
