Few games are as epic as the GOW series.akbar13And one of those is Mass Effect 2. In what way is it epic? Epic is not being used as a synonym for great. I don't see how Mass Effect in general is epic. God of War III you are a powerful human taking on some of the most powerful creatures in history and knocking off all the GODS of Olympus one by one, starting with Poseidon, which ends in you killing him from his perspective. You are a single man with only one person in the world helping you, and they can't do much. As opposed to Mass Effect where you are a space soldier with teammates backed by an entire corporation, armed with heavy weaponry and taking on enemies who are often just other humans. Mass Effect is a fantastic game and I'm sure ME2 is better, but I don't see where the "EPIC" factor comes from. It's great for other reasons. Of course the multiplat is going to win the poll though...
Mass effect 2.
The last suicide mission is, in my opinion, one of the best levels i have ever played. Any decision you make can affect your teams life.
God of war 3 is epic, but the ending was dissapointing to say the least.
I don't see what was so disappointing, Kratos is finally relieved from his suffering and then sacrifices his life to give hope back to the world so it can be rebuilt, leading to the current world.
Mass effect 2.

Actually they probably all understand it, but don't want to admit that God of War III is more "anything positive" than the game they like better since they can play it.Spo choices you make in GOW2 effect gameplay in GOW3? The don't even effect the gameplayin Mass Effect 2. Honestly they had zero effect on the story since the same thing would happen regardless of whether the council was humans only or the old council, etc. Of course that may change in Mass Effect 3, but we have to wait and see.

The choices that do carry over in ME2 are great though. If you play the base game you're stuck with all Renegade choices and you never get your Spectre status back, or Wrex, or Rachni message, or Conrad Verner etc. There's whole quests that you cannot experience without it. ME1 save file definitely adds more flavor to the game.Wait a second guys, I just found the cow dictionary
Epic - Button mashing your way through made up Greek Mythology.
MizFitAwesome
It can be seen as a button masher depending on the player. There are precise players who take the time to learn the ins and outs of combat, and then there's casuals that mash square triangle.
Since you're pretty much implying that god of war III is a button masher, I think it's safe to say you fall into the latter group. If that's the case, I feel sorry that you can't experience the game the right way.
not everyone is good at videogames :P

I mean yeah, Bioware could be saving up for ME3, but the choices really didn't impact ME2 at all.
i literally just beat gow3 15 mins ago and it was a epic game but the ending was sooo MEH! IMO wasn't epic at all :(JetB1ackNewYearwait a min did you understand the ending??? theres a hidden message after the credits end! after i understood it i felt relieve and comfort knowing what actually takes place

GOW had an epic beggining. But the rest wasn't too epic. Although, I haven't play Mass Effect 2 so I can't vote.
Really, but you fail to mention the meaning from the Lemming dictionary*** Epic - Can't have it, so hate it.Wait a second guys, I just found the cow dictionary

Back on topic I say GOW3, but ME2 is epic in it's own way. It's really hard to say because both are totally different games so judging them accordingly isn't really justifiable.
