I also noticed the halo 3/ ME boxart similarities too. I doubt it was intentional but they do look similar.

The first one cover is what you call... epic, but the second is just....fine....

Being serious now I dont like it. The first boxart made you feel the game was epic and that something big was on the horizon. This one just looks like a generic space marine running with some friends. You dont get the epic feel. I know the game wont be that way,but we are talking about the boxart here.

My most antecipated game right now. I love the first one and everything looks improved in this one. I cant wait!

Actually yes. I don't like that "Who the F are you?" face.

Geesh, it's like he's accusing me of something... No...I did everything I could, she just stepped right into view and I couldn't...it's not my fault, if she followed the basic rules of street crossing...just stop staring!

I like the cover alright. It kind of gives me an old-school sci-fi game cover vibe. Shep's face looks messed though :?

I like Mass Effect, and I'm really looking forward to Mass Effect 2. But good lord that is some horrific box art.

:p i dont mean in general, im talking about a specific person. I was reading a story in my local newspaper yesterday and there was a picture of a pedophile that looked EXACTLY like that image of Shepard.

On another note, i really hope they improve the tools for building a character. Besides 2, every single created character i've seen looks crap, at least compared to Shepard.

haha nice. I really need to replay it and make a female character. i cant remember but who were the romance options for a female sheppard.

Playing through the first one now. I keep getting owned hard but god it's everything I could want in an RPG.

Can't wait for the second.

I completed Mass Effect again today... gotta be on my 9nth play-through or something.

I like the slightly more underground/gears look it's going for in ME2, only it isn't convoluted and boring. I find the ME universe more intriguing than ever now.

I like it and am also glad to see a krogan standing with Shepard even if it is not Wrex. I thought the first cover was really good and I think this one is also very good.

They seriously need to cut the green borders off X360 boxes, it makes them all look ugly! And the cover looks bad imho...

I think they are going for the 80's comic book styl3 in ME... but I have to ask, what region does that Halo 3 cover come from? Mine doesn't look like that.

Then again the Europeans always get the best cover arts.
