Maybe this is similar to what 'Fusion' is, a fusion of Kinect and the 360 controller?

It's optional, so anyone who doesnt own Kinect (Read: Hates Kinect) wont have to use it anyway.
For Kinect owners who are probably interested in this kinda thing, im sure it'll be quite interesting.
Also, why are people upset it was delayed? These are probably the same people who complained it was releasing so soon
Lol, they need to make a glove with 'force feedback' so you can feel too :lol:Miranda, Tali ,..
...welcome to next gen gaming. :o

No, it would be pointless either way. Forcing control schemes or pointless mini games/options into titles that weren't built for it is a waste of time and manpower imo.No good can come of Kinect support, but if the PS3 version gets Move support it will be the greatest thing ever right?

I agree with you about the "pointless" part if the experience does not in any way shape or form add something more or better compared to a traditional controller set-up. If they can make the experience better then I don't see the problem... especially since they won't be force-feeding Kinect controls down your throat.
This will be completely optional... and even then you're looking at a hybrid set-up here. Also based on quotes made by them last year this won't be some gimmicky add-on to the game. They will take it very seriously to make sure that it adds to the overall flow and experience of the game in a postive way.
[QUOTE="WilliamRLBaker"]Yeah, with the current face generation they have i found it pretty damn hard to get anything to look even remotely like me (too beautiful, I guess), but if they tweaked that a bit to add more options and added the Kinect facial scanning to go with it... that would be pretty freakin' awesome. It will likely be better with kinect with the majority of control being done with controller and extra things done with the kinect...I personally want face mapping ala rainbow six would love to do a custom character and put my face up there lol but I doubt it since it wouldn't be very good.

If I made my Shepard look like me, I wouldn't even be able to romance a Hanar  :P
If the mini games (hacking terminals and such) were Kinect optional, that'd be great.... I'd have fun doing a simplified Minority Report style mini game to hack security consoles and what not. It would only add to the immersion of the most immersive series of all time.
And of course it would be optional, its not like they want to miss out on sales from fans who don't have or want Kinect.
