If you think really hard you may just find something to complain about here too...

No one cares about the MP is Mass Effect, they should have scraped that bad idea and worked on the ending and adding more closure.Supa_F_L_YYou obviously never played the game, it's very easy to find a game. I actually I've seen a lot of people who got so into MP that they still haven't beaten the SP But of course, you will never believe it.

Yeah only after the backslash they got, they should have made my choices better in the first place. How can any in the bioware team think that the ending would be good enough to finish the trilogy. Casey Hudoen or whatever you're name is your a dumbass.[QUOTE="Supa_F_L_Y"]No one cares about the MP is Mass Effect, they should have scraped that bad idea and worked on the ending and adding more closure.IAmNot_funYou obviously never played the game, it's very easy to find a game. People only playing it because it ties in with the SP rating BS. Clever move on there part to force people to play the crap mp but a kick in the face to people that hate MP and boring repetitive horde mode.

Casey Hudoen or whatever you're name is your a dumbass. So you complain that they should concentrate on fixing the ending, then when you hear news that they're actually fixing the ending, you still complain?
I'm all for wishing there was a better ending to begin with, but it takes guts for them to take a step back, swallow there pride, and realise that what they had intended for the ending wasn't as good as it looked to be in there minds at the time.

The ending is so s***ty like you have described that it really has no point. Besides, To get the best ending, you only need to play like 4 or 5 matches, and that certainly doesn't make you N7 rating over 50 (barely 10). I see tons of people over 50.
I just do the MP to get my EMS past 5000, that's it.lamprey263The crappy thing is, the readiness rating keeps going down, so it forces us to keep playing it. Mine has gone down all the way to 50% now. Next time I play, I'll just use a save editor to double my EMS instead of playing crap horde mode.

Complaining about free DLC>, the way it always used to be.
Nice example you guys are setting. Consolites really are bad.

Fans: I DON'T LIKE YOUR ENDING!
BioWare: Uh ok, how about we fix it for you, free of charge?
Fans: I DON'T WANT YOU TO FIX IT!
BioWare: Well, want some free additions to the multiplayer portion of the game along with a fix?
Fans: NO! THE GAME IS ABOUT THE SINGLE PLAYER, AND THE SINGLE PLAYER IS RUINED BECAUSE OF THE ENDING!
BioWare: But we just offered to fix it for free...
Fans: I DON'T WANT YOU TO FIX IT!
Yeah, that's this situation in a nutshell. It goes beyond the saying "You can't please everyone" because they're flat out refusing to be pleased.

I really believe gamers have shown the absolute worst side of themselves in this situation. They're stomping their feet and crying at the moon, and it's obvious nothing will fix their "problems" like it's such a big damn deal. I hope this doesn't set a bad precedent into the future.
Fans: I DON'T LIKE YOUR ENDING!Only, they're not "fixing" it. They're "clarifying". Which is what has raged fans even more. Anyhow, I'll keep an open mind until it actually comes out. After all, it's free, so nothing stopping me from checking it out. I'm not keeping much hope, but maybe the "clarification" is good enough that it won't need "fixing".

The way I see it, there are few factions involved in this whole clusterf*ck: 1) People that did like the ending 2) People that didn't like the ending and want it changed 3) People that didn't like the ending but don't want it changed for "artistic integrity" (doubt most of them know what that even is) 4) People that haven't play the game just f*cking along because they are jerks. During the whole f*ckup, it seems like it's mostly the group #4 that was and is sh*tting trash all over the internet. It's great that they are trying to make up for it. Did they say sorry? If they said sorry about hyping the ending giving a false impression, and that they wouldn't do it again, I think that it would all be over by now.
[QUOTE="KungfuKitten"]Did they say sorry?JynxzorAll Bioware has really said about the ending boils down to this. We know you think the ending sucks, so were going to release some cinematics to tell you why we don't think it sucks. Hmm well if I were them I would have said sorry and this wouldn't have escalated.
Now make the prothean DLC free.exiledsnakeHow about letting that go and accept the free sh!t (that didn't have to be free btw) that they are giving you.
I already know that some of you will never be satisfied because even after Criterion released an ENTIRE YEAR of free DLC for Burnout Paradise people b!tched about a goddamn car pack.

THis isn't a situation where anyone wants a resolution they just want to be heard.Creating a new ending isn't going to fix anything and this thing that their doing is just going to enrage people even more.
They should have just took their lumps on the ending and moved on. You really shouldn't get a do over on a story's ending. Sometimes endings are...messy.

Could use a bit more diversity though, feels like every map and encounter plays just about the same.

Yeah, pretty funny. Every time BioWare answers their questions they immediately demand something else, saying it's not enough. We hate EA! Aren't EA great! Wow I'm tired of the bipolar nonsense in regard to EA. Good, free DLC, woohoo. That's a positive thing to come out of this encompassing debacle (on everyone's behalf) and EA's horrible business practices. skrat_01Alright, I get the feeling this is going to be a pain in the ass, but what horrible business practices are you talking about, exactly?
Some of those abilities look so cool :o
Definitely getting this (like that wasn't a given considering the price tag)

KungfuKitten
It was more of a backhanded apology.
BioWare performed the biggest no-no in a game, allowing multiplayer to take away from single-player. There should be a way to raise fleet effectiveness in SP. That aside, a lot of people lost money on failed gear sales in multiplayer.topsemag55I thought gathering war assets did that.

I really have to wonder if they're just screwing with us at this point.
? I don't get it...I'll just ask, have you played through the story yet?Yep, wasn't all that bothered by the ending to be honest. It was weird and kinda "Stanley Kubrick" but I didn't mind.[QUOTE="Spartan070"] ? I don't get it...Vaasman
This is a situation where Bioware should have done it right in the first place. They did'nt which kills their last shred of credibility for me, personally; but the situation can't be salvaged now, regardless.
This was a case of do or die, in the sense that their lack of interest in prvoding closure, says everything about how much they cared about their promises.
EA, Bioware, the director... Does'nt matter who's to blame. You screwed up and you're lesser for it, time to move onwards.
