Nah, only commander shepard's story is ended. There is no way EA or Bioware would abandon such a successful IP.

Well they released ME2 and DA:O literally 2 months apart.

My guess is spring 2015.

I really can't wait for this, should be amazing on next gen platforms.

I doubt it will release this year just because we have no official information on it other than, "It's in development."

If it does, it'll be late this year. I guess we'll see.

Cant wait! I never played the original ME but i loved ME2 and 3. I loved exploring random planets and meeting new characters.

It would be great if it comes out this year, but with DA coming out sometime this year I can't really see a ME game coming out the same year.

An announcement at E3 is likely. A release in Q1/Q2 2015 is looking plausible and based on what I've read, there will be no relation to Shepard's arc (events) and it'll keep the same base (third person action RPG with more customization and exploration)

So what do people want ? A better Game or A better RPG (ME2 vs. ME)?

And "playing Mass Effect" consists of your character walking around, pressing X to talk to people, then you flick through a boring menu asking them every question. You repeat this process for an hour straight until something FINALLY happens, but it's usually just a quick 2 minute firefight. ME also has cutscenes and it has one thing Uncharted does not.....LOAD TIMES.

Since DA is releasing later in the year there's no way they're going to release ME as well. I say early 2015, no sooner.

Mass Effect 3 had 5 questionable minutes in it... the rest of the game was the apex of the franchise.

And this is why i started watching Chuck LOL, man oh man too bad Mass Effect 3 had no female that even came close.

You know what would be cool, Open Ended Gameplay, Stealth Elements like line of Site and Ambushes, TLOU Style. Maybe even even a trap or two.

Yeah I agree with most people that it will come out in 2015. They'll give it some time in E3 so as for the hype to reach a climax.

Gotta love it when they start sharing more info like trailers, images etc. Can't even describe how many times I watched and rewatched the Mass Effect 3 official launch trailer in anticipation for the release of ME3 some years ago.

Part of me was impressed, in the beginning, as to just how passionate gamers were about the franchise and then it just went waaaaaaaaay over the top and I lost my sympathy for gamers and wanted them to keep the original ending and leave it alone. People that bitch to that extent should NEVER be catered to.

The Original Ending was trash. I mean why in the world was Joker leaving with your team mates IN A MASS EFFECT RELAY after your team just told you that they will DIE for you.

Ridiculous.

it did suck and thankfully the free dlc fixed it up, and thats all that needed to be done. Wasn't worth the fandom bitchfest

@LegatoSkyheart: oh no doubt... It had the sensibility of a turd laying in the sun. It was short, shallow and it disconnected us from the payoff we thought we'd get... But 5 minutes of that game leading to complaints to the better business Bureau is beyond anything I'm willing to support. There were several payoffs in that game... The entirety of it was a Farwell to so many stories... They nailed much of it. Some they didn't.
