Mass Effect, Fable 2, Lost Odessy, Viva Pinata/ Banjo are mediocre

I definately agree with Fable 2 and Lost Odyssey being mediocre. Not only were they mediocre they were both overrated. Mass Effect was okay. Haven't played Viva Pinata or banjo. And MGS4 is overrated (worst story in the series). Haven't played Resistance 2 but 1 was mediocre. Little Big Planet was okay from what I've played.redCloudJ7

Its amazing how opinions can vary so much. Fable 2 and Lost Odyssey are a couple of my favorite experiences this generation thus far. :)

Not to mention Lost Odyssey is stunning and a 10x better RPG than anything PS3 comes up with, especially the last gen White Knight with the PS2 visuals and MMO like repeatitive and boring/slow combat

Banjo 3 also is a real innovative and huge fun game, unlike the boring LBP with the last gen 2D simplistic gameplay

PS3 games are jokes, first of all MGS4 with the MGS3 like level design and gameplay, that was pure boredom

In short 360 has the real games, PS3 has overhyped short last gen in gameplay mediocrities

And that is entirely understandable. I'm a bit too lenient sometimes, but I had a lot of fun with those two titles. Like I said, amazing how opinions can vary so much. This is why reviews should always be taken with a grain of salt.

I have bought MGS4 actually, i could just not stand the last gen gameplay and constant loadings, and abandoned the terrible experience in act 3 mid

I rented LBP, and finished it co-op in a single day, was a 10x worst and more repeatitive platformer than Braid actually

I have seen the Live feed of White Knight played for 3 days, i have never seen such a boring game, it is one of the most tedious, repeatitive and last gen experiences this generation, the visuals are subpar too

It is exactly because i have played/seen how those games are that i know they are crappy, n fact i bought MGS4 because of those huge scores, the game is a joke really, aside the cut-scenes which i liked

That said, Gears 2 was similarly crappy, aside 4-5 cool huge monster monents, the whole game was confined, linear and totally last gen in level design and execution, another overhyped overscored game to please the fans, thank god i rented it too

Frankly Mass Effect and Fable 2 alone would be better for me than 1000x games like MGS4, LBP, Gears 2 etc
