It's certainly a great game (AAA in my book) but I don't know if I'd name it my personal game of the year.

Its a stunning visual odyssey, with an interactive storyline that isn't linear like other games, and its a RPG that doesn't send you to pure bordem like other games.

It's GS 8.5 only shows that its completely underrated, but its not surprising since this site thinks Super Mario Galaxy is the best game of the year, which is a joke :lol:

You just described an RPG... It's just like The Witcher. I thought The Witcher was better, imo.

I have over 100hrs in ME, and I'm my third play through. What game effecting "bugs" are you talking about?

its not about that , really... the shooting was boring also the controls were kinda poor inthe combat and frustrating also when using vehicles

its not about that , really... the shooting was boring also the controls in the combat.

I had no problem with the controls and there was nothing boring about the shooting unless you were playing on Insane where it takes forever to kill anything

So it's the People's GOTY despite COD4 and Crysis being way ahead in the Reader's Choice votes? In fact, it's not even winning Reader's Choice for the RPG genre. The Witcher is about 10, 000 votes ahead.

And what is so revolutionary about it?

It's been out****d in visuals by several games this year.

It's story is very formulaic as far as Bioware games go, it can't compete with Baldur's Gate 2 either.

It has technical issues as well.

It is in no sense the People's GOTY. Not in popularity, not in innovation, not in overall quality. Please, stop pretending your opinion needs to be forced on everyone.

I agree, I loved Kotor, but in all honestyI find ME to be a funner game to play. Had they worked on some of the nit picking flaws I have with the game I could have easily been a significantly better game.

Whoa now, whether or not Mass Effect is the peoples game of the year or not, its certainly alot better than Bioshock. Bioshock has absolutely no replay value whatsoever, the combat is clunky, you cant even die (hurts the game immensely), and Bioshock also features one of the worst endings ever for a story driven game.
