Well since Mass Effect will be a better game the graphics won't matter....Spartan070Bioshock will be >>> than both :D

Only drawback for ME is that the enviornments arent as interactive as Crysis. It really does look as good as Crysis. What Renderware are those dudes using for MEPro_WrestlerIt's using the UE3 engine. I'm also excited. It should be a good time.

Well since Mass Effect will be a better game the graphics won't matter....Spartan070Mass Effect, the game that's practically a sci-fi Oblivion? RPG VS. FPS? Will be better?
I think a lot of people are confusing Crysis and the CryEngine2 tech demos- thats why you see some above average screens and some almost real life screens. you know all that compare to real life stuff? those are tech demos
Conker-Fan
The newest comparison pictures are actually in-game. You can see the pictures here
It's also difficult to compare Crysis and Mass Effect unless the screenshots compare similar environments/scenes. The artistic styles in the two games are also very different.

[QUOTE="Thug_Pikachu"]Alan Wake looks better than Crysis already and its world is biggercobrax55no.... yes, Alan wake has the best lighting ever and you could probably fit Crysis , FarCry, and Crytek's next gen inside the city that Alan Wake takes place in .

Well that's a given, Alan Wake is a 2008 title, so developers will be able to utilise Dx10 much more effectively by then one would imagine.

Not to mention the real time weather Alan Wake does look very visually impressive, and I think it's a real possibility it can look better with Crysis now that all 2007 is available to work on it. Obviously games like Crysis are handicapped as the first generation of Directx 10 games.

Bioware RPG vs. Some generic FPS that has nice graphics (remembers Doom 3 *shutters)
hmm tough choice
-DarthVader-
Crysis has a lot more than just graphics to make it so appealing to people. I have stated this many times on GS before, since people seem to refer to Crysis as a "pretty FarCry", or "another generic shooter" quite often.
Here are some key features of Crysis:
- graphics (but certainly not the only feature)
- physics (adds immersion)
- open environment (the island is very large, thus eliminating linear gameplay many hate)
- huge focus on both singleplayer and multiplayer (Power Struggle sounds especially interesting for multiplayer)
- wide variety of vehicles
- customizability (the nanosuit and most of the weapons will be customizable)
These are only some of the things which are creating hype for Crysis, there is plenty more, and I could easily go into more detail for each of these points.
