Crysis > ME in graphics

I agree, not only that but the last Bioware game with satisfying combat was the Baldur's Gate series, since then the action in their games was never any good.
No, no it doesn't.

Try recent photos, the game keeps getting better and better looking. Not sure crysis is going to be able to keep up anymore.
seriously Crysis main character model looks good, but I think he is finished. They are not going to make him better. Now look how good this lizard man looks, Dang! Other parts of Crysis I am not to impressed with, enviroments looks nice though. But lots of building, cars, textures look weak. This recent photo here with the lizard man, omg, for real if Mass Effect is going to look better than that pic, it is going to have such awsome graphics. It already look outstanding, can they make it look better? I spend a lot of time on art forums, like CGtalk and gfxartist. This lizard man looks almost as good as modern 3d pictures, which could not be in a game any time soon because the polygon number is way to high.
wow everyone got quiet after my last post showing the uber phat pics of Mass Effectish_gibborThat lizard pic shows actual face. A lot more detail is allowed then, while the Crysis guy (Jake Dunn) has a mask on.
Crysis does have better graphics then Mass Effect. However if I were to choose between the two, I would go with Mass Effect. I like RPG's better then FPS's and in my opinion:Â Well made RPG > Well made FPS.Sky_Fadei'd like to play both

In my oppenion the lizard face looks better. I remember gears faces looking much better while playing. However they still look really good. Perhaps some faces will look better in Crysis than they did in gears. As of right now though I think Mass Effect has the better graphics.

Well that's a given, Alan Wake is a 2008 title, so developers will be able to utilise Dx10 much more effectively by then one would imagine. just saying Crysis is great and everything but Alan Wake blows it out the water . Also the Water in Alan Wake destroys Crysis. Not to mention the real time weather You continue to own yourself.
Forgetting one very minor thing.. MASS EFFECT SCREENS ARE ALL CUT SCENES WHILE CRYSIS IS GAMEPLAY! SO CRYSIS KILLS MASS EFFECTBigBoss5777
Those are not cut scenes watch the video demo. The guy says although it may look like a cut scene this is actual game play. And then he interupts the guy talking which is a feature in the game. So the fact you thought they were cut scenes tells me how awsome the graphics are. Matter of fact I do not think there is one cutscene in the whole game. The story like gears is told with out cut scenes.

True. They are not cutscense, I have both Videos of that demo on my Xbox 360 and it clearly states multiple times that everything was rendered in real-time.That lizard pic shows actual face. First things first, you can't just say it has better graphics if you find one thing looks better than another -- especially with Crysis.I'll pull this out for you which I find is getting old, but it is a more finished model and looks nearly real, and will be in the game.[QUOTE="hellzhitman"][QUOTE="Spartan070"]Well since Mass Effect will be a better game the graphics won't matter....InsaneBasuraBioshock will be >>> than both :D And I'll own them all. I win. ditto
What are you arguing about, Look at ME it has no almost no draw distance and 0 AF, Crysis is far more detailed. Even the suit of the crysis guy is more detailed than the ones in ME.
Cryengine is more advanced than Unreal engine and Crysis looks better than Mass Effect.Â
What the hell, your areguing too or else you would'nt have posted. I can to say that the UE3.0 is more advanced because its more versatile with all current-gen and pc platforms whereas CryEngine is only DirectX10 complient and only PCs use directX10. Saying it looks better is partial opinion-based as you can see there are a few people here that agree that M.E. looks as good or better. What are you arguing about, Look at ME it has no almost no draw distance and 0 AF, Crysis is far more detailed. Only drawback for ME is that the enviornments arent as interactive as Crysis. It really does look as good as Crysis. What Renderware are those dudes using for MEPro_Wrestler
