Mass Effect or Drakes Fortune?

get uncharted, and play it on hard, you get 12-15 hours max, going threw it first wit out getting any treasures, and goals.

i dont see why everyone says 8 hours, when gamers should be playing games all onhard when they get them anyway. people who say 8 on sw are the people have never played uncharted.

It is NOT 40 hours. Even the reviewers agree with me on this. The Main storyline as well as side-quests amounts up to about 25 hours. The only way I could figure you extrapolating 40 hours is by counting replays where you made differents decisions; replay value is not the same as actual length.

i'd say 30 hours at the most if you did everything.

mass effect is AAA on gamerankings, uncharted isn't

Uncharted got an 89.6% on GR. Had Gamespot actually posted a score more appropriate to the game. It would have made AAA--As all the other reviewer sites would agree it should.

You're right. The FACT is that Uncharted has a AAA average and Gamespot's reviews have been getting more and more questionable (I don't even bother with them anymore).

As for Mass Effect: I stand by what I said. It took me 23 hours to get just about every single quest in the game. Had I been able to finish it (I don't own it), it probably would have added a couple more hours, but not amount to 30.

If you're saying that it's going to take most people 30 hours, then that's fine I s'pose. But the exact same reasoning could be used for Uncharted.

I have all three, I was in the middle of AC, after that,I got both Uncharted and ME when they were released, I just couldn't resist Uncharted, I finished it and Im going to play it on crush mode.

Can't really go by GS scores anymore. Also GS tied for the lowest score on the web for Uncharted. So it's not really an indicator of how most people feel about the game.

Personally I think both are great games and you should forget what everyone here says. Just get the game you are most interested in. Both are totally different genres. There is no comparing an Action/Adventure to an RPG. You want a long story and exploration go with ME you want non-stop action and a graphics tour go with Uncharted. It's like comparing vanilla or choclate ice cream. How can you? Both good :)

Just like Heavenly Sword and Ratchet, Uncharted is a rental. After you beat it twice, there's nothing more to see. Buy Mass Effect, more replay value, and the story changes everytime you play and choose different paths. Also those achievements adds to the replay value.

my friend played mass effect and did about 95% of what there is to do in the game (has strategy guide)

took him 34 hours, guessing it would be longer for someone without a guide

i'm on my 3rd game through

20 hours each for the first and second game, doing a few sides here and there

currenty 23 hours "trying" to do as many sides as i can

I see many X360 fans are trying to judge gaming by dollars. Which doesn't make sense. I bought PSN Poker off the Sony Store for $9.99 and probably have several hundred hours online with it. Does that make it better than Uncharted or Mass Effect??

Both games Uncharted and ME offer different experiences. And they aren't comparable at all, that is why lemmings are defaulting to the length to complete argument, because that is the only item you can actually compare on the games.

Personally length doesn't matter to me a whole bunch. Like a good movie; if it's a game you enjoy you will play it more than once. And find yourself coming back to it over and over.

I haven't Played ME, uncharted is simply great though you should buy it.

Mass Effect is definately more bang for your buck. I am a little over 20 hrs and still have a good amount of side missions to do, I would guess around another 8-10 hrs left. Then after you beat it you can make a whole nother character and play through again as a different personality.

I haven't played Drake yet but it seems like a renter, one play through around 10 hours and nothing else.
