No it doesn't. Specially if you consider the fact that Gamespot is going by their new crappy rating system, a game would have to be absolutely mind blowing. It has to be something that does what the Ocarina of Time did for gaming. Mass Effect isn't it. It isn't revolutionary, it doesn't do anything earth shattering. Am I saying it's gonna be a bad game? No. Will it be game of the year? Probably not. It'll be a good game, but it will never get 10 on Gamespot.

It wont. When you consider all the perfect scores to have ever been given on Gamespot, all of them have been something jaw dropping and mind boggling. Heck I can go look up the OoT time review, or the Chrono Cross review, or the Soul Calibur review/ Those games were something else, Mass Effect isn't.

KOTOR is arguably the most enjoyable RPG I have ever played and I have pretty much played them all, including the crappy FF series. I'm just not into the FF games. Never have been. JRPGs suck the big ones IMO. Too many cutscenes, not enough game play.

I hope so. KOTOR is probably Bioware's 2nd worst game they've made. Anyone that seriously think KOTOR is Bioware's best hasnt played any of their work before owning an Xbox. They've been going downhill since the start of the KOTOR series.XaosII

The only other game they made after Kotor was Jade Empire which was a bad idea from the start. I didn't have as much fun with KOTOR then i did with Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 or Neverwinter Nights but it was still an excellent game.

Saying Bioware is going downhill is a bold assumption.

BG 1 and 2 are great. KOTOR was good. Jade Empire was decent. You've reaffirmed what i said. After BG, their works have gotten worse. They are going dowhill. Sure, their later works arent terrible or even bad, but they are getting worse. Hopefully ME will bring them back up.
