[QUOTE="Ontain"]the problem with treating it like porn is that you can't buy it in most big box stores. yet you can buy movies that are just as violent. if anything make it like alcohol. they have to card ppl that buy it and adults that buy it for kids or make it available to their kids or other kids can get in trouble. that'll force parents to pay attention to what they allow.

American culture scares me.
When sex is considered more dangerous then a gun something is wrong. Sex = good.
Thank you! There is a huge double standard in this country. We've decided that sex/nudity is bad/too adult, but random explicit acts of violence are just good old fun. Does the level of violence frona Teen to a Mature game really make the Mature game better? Couldn't it be just as mych fun if it was toned down to get a Teen rating? Yes, there has always been violence in videogames, but let's face it the Ninja Gaiden I played at 13 isn't anywhere close to the level of violence and detail of the NGB.There are much stricter rules for movies, porn, booze, and smoking than videogames. Face it the rating system is mainly looked at as a joke or inconvienance. It provides a small hurdle, but not a deterant.
