Realistically, it would be Master Chief. If you figured in the instant-death melees in Halo as applying to all weapons, then Snake would have a good chance of winning. Mario would just not win against bullets. He regularly gets wasted by bullets traveling at about 5 mph, so I doubt he'd do too well under dual SMG fire.
Replace Mario with Link. How could we put a cartoon against normal characters? And Dante or Katros would be better then Snake. I vote for Snake because I like his games better then the other two. But I love all three of them! :D

Kratos would work better, but not Dante. But Kratos would just not make it fair.
Snake would probably break Master Chief's neck... and then punt Mario.
