your right...and besides, ps3 gamers will need something to do while WAITING for games. Climbing up on about a year now and $600 has to show for it is 6 hour heavenly sword, Lair (biggest flop of the year?), Resistance (GEARS OF WAR KILLER!), and Motorstorm (Cows say: we are hyping it AA! GS says: That's fine, because it's only A!).

That rumor came out a couple of years ago, it is OLD, bungie needed to green light it and they decided to reject the idea. The idea was to indirectly compete with sony in the handheld market by releasing a halo game on the ds, but it didn't work out. You can't lose a first party game anyways.

The PS3 plays blue-ray format, but it's really part of the Blue-ray player library, not the solely the PS3's library.

Buy the movie will suck, like every single other video game adaptation. I still think that that is mostly because games still haven't advanced enough as a storytelling medium, but partly because they get terrible directors, actors and scripts.

However, it would be very funny if people who owned the xbox couldn'tsee Hal: The Movie in HD.
