Matthew Fox to appear in Mass Effect movie ?

"Popular actor Matthew Fox, who played Jack Shephard on ABC's hit series "LOST," is set to star in a new movie called "Mass Effect."

Not many details about the movie have been released, however the movie is slated for a 2012 release. All we know so far is that in the movie mankind discovers an ancient alien technology that enables travel faster than the speed of light – so what will mankind find when they use this type of travel?

As far as looks go, I think it's a good choice. He does remind me a lot of the default Shepard.

Great! I hope its true. Matthew Fox is a great actor and fits John Shepard perfectly. Lost was awesome and he did a great job and Jack Shepard

The problem, however, is that Fox sounds like a bigger wuss than Alec Meer, so I wouldn't want him to be Shepard. I don't see a badass in Matthew Fox.

Cool news, should be a perfect fit. As a person who watched Lost I can verify Matthew Fox, can act, and can kick rear with the best of them.

Forget a male Shepard. Remember that Mass Effect is a game where the main protagonist is an open concept, up to the player to shape and define? Lets go with a hot female lead for this :D :D :D

Did anyone read the article? The writer doesn't seem to know Mass Effect is a game. He's speculating on what the technology we discover on Mars will bring :P.
