I know this sounds weird, but I want Google and Sony to collaborate for the next gen.

Could you imagine an Android Gaming console? Do want!

If there would be any major partnership it would be Apple and Sony. That one is extremely unlikely, so Sony Microsoft is as small as the last number in PI.

I know google will be likely to partner with American companies, but one can only dream. The smoothness of an Android Operating System on a PS4 would be heaven in a home entertainment system.

Eh... You've got it in reverse.

The XBOX consoles didn't sell Halo.

Halo sold the XBOX consoles.

Remember when Nintendo was going to partner up with Sony, to have them build their CD tech for their next console. They opted to pull out and go with Phillips and that horrible CDI thing. So Sony decided to do things itself and launch the Playstation, whichI bet Nintendo was kicking themselves on that one.

Lolwut.

Sony/Google E-book Deal

Sony to distribute Chrome

Sony Android-based mobiles

Google TV partners with Sony (among others)

Google and Sony and pretty much any corporation will partner with whomever they see some sort of mutual benefit.

I remember that story.

Playstation was born out of revenge against Nintendo.

What benefit would there be? Certainly Sony wouldn't support the App catalog. They couldn't control the pricing or collect any royalties from it!

And somewhere there is a track with Michael Jackson and Prince teamed up, and will be released in 2012

Whales can fly

Dogs and Cats can have children

My car can fly!

Doesn't need to happen, isn't going to happen.

If you need all of that to fight Nintendo, then you're pretty weak.

i think its a brilliant idea, they would relly compliment each other,MS is better at software, SONY is better at hardware, SONY hardware wit MS software=windelta3074
Why the hell would you need windows on a console? It just takes up huge ammounts of resources for no real gain. Most consoles have a completley custom operating system and it barely uses any resources since it dosen't need to do all the stuff a full blown desktop OS needs.
