If there would be any major partnership it would be Apple and Sony. That one is extremely unlikely, so Sony Microsoft is as small as the last number in PI.

I know google will be likely to partner with American companies, but one can only dream. The smoothness of an Android Operating System on a PS4 would be heaven in a home entertainment system.

The XBOX consoles didn't sell Halo.

Halo sold the XBOX consoles.

Remember when Nintendo was going to partner up with Sony, to have them build their CD tech for their next console. They opted to pull out and go with Phillips and that horrible CDI thing. So Sony decided to do things itself and launch the Playstation, whichI bet Nintendo was kicking themselves on that one.

Google and Sony and pretty much any corporation will partner with whomever they see some sort of mutual benefit.

Remember when Nintendo was going to partner up with Sony, to have them build their CD tech for their next console. They opted to pull out and go with Phillips and that horrible CDI thing. Playstation was born out of revenge against Nintendo.

Maybe if they join up they would be able to put a dent into the Juggernaut *aka Nintendo*Human-after-all

Nintendo is a juggernaut this gen, but they have dropped the ball before.

What benefit would there be? Certainly Sony wouldn't support the App catalog. They couldn't control the pricing or collect any royalties from it!
