I'm curious how this:

[NDS] Pokemon Black / White (including Bundle) (Pokemon Co.) {10/09/18} - 10,433 / 5,071,867

...plays out. I wonder if it's possible for Monster Hunter to topple Pokemon? The latter had a two and a half month sales advantage as well.

And america plays the same FPS games over and over again.

But only from 2002 (When Halo got popular) - 2010. (2011 just started) That's eight years. Japans been playing JRPGs since Ultima 3 clones starting poppin' up around 1985. That's 25 years of single-mindedness. I threw you a bone here. FPS didn't become as popular as JRPGs in Japan until this console generation around 2006. So, really, only 4 years.

Plus, for every samey FPS there's 1000 samey JRPGs. Do not compare.

Anyone with a brain can see that any given sales chart for US/EU has more diversity than Japan.

330k in Japan only (PS3 version) is not enough to warrant a sequel? WKC sold 320k only in Japan and it warranted 2 sequels one on PS3 and other on PSP lol.

Im sure it would still sell in the high 100k-200k area. I dont think a console would make enough difference.

A handheld however....

WKC sold 320k and its a new IP on PS3 when PS3 install base was way lower than now new IPs on handhelds don't usually sell more than 300k.

That's what I have been telling you this entire time, only the most hardcore JRPG fans will accept the highest of HD graphics when playing JRPGs. Thus a Sony console is your only option.
