MEGATON: Pikmin 3 Confirmed For E3 2012

Hope its more like Pikmin 2 than the first game. Also hope its is not a Pikmin 2 clone with better graphics though I would take any Pikmin game over nothing. Fantastic series and both games sold surprisingly well. Weird how it took them so long to make a sequel.

Pikmin is such an underappreciated Nintendo franchise. Its name easliy belongs with such heavy hitters as Zelda, Metroid, and Mario.

I am 100% certain there is nothing anybody could announce or show that could make me more excited than a new Pikmin game. This is my most anticipated E3 in years.

I hope they use the same advertising campaign they did for Pikmin 2. those clay model scenes were awesome

I'd prefer the game took an artsyle from the clay via stop-motion influence. Why not? The Wii U will apparently be powerful enough to do it. I wanna start seeing games trying out a stop-motion type thing too.

It seems like a touch screen would be better, but it simply doesn't work in this situation unless the whole game is played solely on controller. It would essentially have to be a handheld game.

If it's like any other controller in the world, you'll get a feel for it. It will get to the point where you won't even have to look at it, I'm sure. Unless you still have to look at your controller when the game tells you to press "A".

and I now have a deadline to finish Pikmin 2 by. I played it for several hours when it first came out and for some reason never finished, now is that time.

If Pikmin 3 is what Pikmin 2 was, plus more, Pikmin 3 will be one of the best games in the universe. Can't wait to see what it looks like.
