It was the worst experience in online gaming I've ever had. Konami should have let Sony handle everything beyond actually creating the game. :|

Question: I just now got my Konami ID and Game ID and I'm unable to even login yet. Whenever I hit "OK" on the Login screen I get "Unable to connect to server. (0901:FFFFFFE0). Is everyone else getting the same message? Am I even supposed to be able to login before Gameplay starts?Not-A-Stalker

Main menu, there's options to turn blood off...adjust brightness..change screen location (finally I can move the screen to stop the corners cutting it off :D)

You have to be very fast. Here's how I did it.

Hit Register and as soon as it loads put in your birthday and quickly hit next. AS SOON as you even see anything on the next page, scroll down and hit next. Don't wait for anything else to load. Now take you time and fill everything out at your own pace. Time isn't an issue here.

Now open up a new tab or window or whatever and head back to the first page. Hurry up and go through the first 2 pages again, and as soon as you get to the page where you sign up for the Konami ID and Game ID and all that, switch back to the original window you had up, with all the fields already filled out. Quickly press next.

Now don't even read the next page or two, hurry up and hit next; they're just confirmation pages. You'll get a confirmation link sent to your email, and thats it.

During rush hours you wouldnt be able to do it. I did it yesterday at around 3 AM (GMT -3) in 5 minutes, with quick loadings and no errors.

I spent an hour with autoformer and mozzilla firefox just hitting that..I love MGS though, so hoping MGO is good.

You're not missing on anything, at the 7 forums I'm talking on..none of them got it working to an actual game so far. One got to a setting screen but then it crashed.

wont download the patch for me i have been stuck at 0% for 2 hours now.

I'm hoping that they are learning all the lessons they need to with this beta (as they should be). I took me 3 days to finally finish a Konami ID and Gamer ID registration. Did it fully this afternoon. Haven't gotten an email yet. I'll try logging into the Konami ID web page to see if it went thru for real. I live here in the US so I won't be trying the beta till tomm. I just finished mine like 5 minutes ago and I got the confirmation and email and logged in and everything. You have about 1 to 2 seconds between each screen to push next or you have to start again, at least for me thats how it was.
