Metal Gear Solid 4? Never Coming

I considered buying a PS3 and then I was told that one Virtual Fighter and Tekken would have no online play but then to top that "Metal Gear Solid has been pushed back to possibly 09" per Gamestop employees. I don't know if this is true but if so WTF! shouldn't this had been a launch title, they pay this guy and he sits on games for YEARs.

Go look at the other thread about gamestop employees (something about GOW2 going to 360) to understand where you went wrong.

First of all, Virtua Fighter (there is no L, and hasn't been one since the first game) cannot have an online mode. Ever. Not without simplifying the gameplay, which would ruin what most fans of the game actually enjoy.

MGS4 according to EGM would either end up also for the 360 or pushed back to 2008.

I apologize for adding an L to the name of your Sacred Game, please accept my humble and sincere apology. Had I previously known that the L was not present, I would have taken it upon myself to delete it before placing the L into the title. Upon further examination of the L , I would have preferred to use it in a way such as this. You are a L(oser) for (actua)LL(y) L(isting) the unfortunate L as a problem. Most fans prefer to have competition as (we)LL. (on)L(ine) (wou)L(d) have given it a better chance at being the (exce)LL(ent) game that is (shou)L(d) be. Thanks for your comments and again I (apo)L(ogize)

If they are keeping it PS3 exclusive it would be a good idea to push it back until the platform has a larger install base. 08 would seem much more likely than 09 though. Christmas 08 at the latest I would think.
