MGS4 has horrible textures so it can fit into DVD....also 99% of MGS4 is just cutscenes so thats why it takes all boo-ray....if it was compressed, it would easily fit in a dvd

mgs cutscenes arent cgi theyre in game.
so whats taking up all the space? cant be those 1kb textures.....so i guess most of blu-ray space is taken up by character models?

Wow.. just listen to all that uncompressed audio. Sounds super 7.1!! I did kind of chuckle when the first load screen came up. Are there any mock-video's of the PS3 "Installing Game" screens with a 20minute countdown timer?

I laugh at this thread just because of all the contradictions in TC's post. The Director said the game wouldn't be out on the 360, but because fanboys keep the rumors going, it must be be the opposite.
I must've have forgotten that Fanboy's Rumors means more than an official cofirmation denying it. :lol:
X-box fanboys are pathetic just plain pathetic and I mean that. Just because you know there is no chance of you getting metal gear your going to bash it? Stop being a fanboy and get a ps3 if you want to play metal gear cause thats the only way your going to play it point blank. Your system is incapable of handling the game and since you can find nothing else wrong with the game you go after still pictures trying to find bad things about it. I mean honestly if you are taking your time to focus on the game that much then you really want to have it and play it and wish it came out for x-box but its not. The thing that people should be bashing is why the xbox 360 got its name. My theory is the 360 signify that every game that was on the x-box and then came out on x-box 360 looks exactly like the old predecessor. Example halo 2 and halo 3, ninja gaiden 1 and ninja gaiden 2 they look identical. Master chief looks just like how he looked in halo 1 no new costume looks boring and rehashed ideas and what about ryu same ol costume and even seen some of the same combos he had from 1. Now compare metal gear 3 and metal gear 4 is there any comparison its a brand new game. Its a brand new costume brand new game mechancis, awesome graphic enhancement let the list goes on. So stop bashing and get a ps3 if you want to play this great game or else stop your crying.
If MGS4 comes out on 360 its because kojima opened a technical manual and was blown away by a thing called Data compression. :P
Kidding. I think it would only come to thr 360 long after the PS3 release and Kojima no longer has any creative control over the game. Cause you know as long as he has a say, he sure as hell will never, never let this game ship to any console with compressed audio.

This man sees and speaks the truth! PS3 fan-boys make this whole disk space issue out to be more than what it is. I just think it's bad that a system (PS3) can suck so bad to individuals that they gotta guard MGS4 like it's the PS3's life supply. Seriously that's sad.:roll: Seriously I think the PS3 is a great console but it's topics like this that make the PS3 look like it's in pitiful shape and that the whole fate of the system rest's on MGS4. Sad, very sad!
