He's just a troll, he'ds the same guy who made that topic a few weeks ago saying Crysys' graphics sucked (I think it was called Crysis bullshots vs real shots'. Its funny because the apparent 'real shots' when clicked on linked to a photobucket gallery called 'Crysis on low settings'.

I'm actually dissapointed that MGS4 was the first PS3 game I played. Because after that a lot of the other games looked like dirt to me. Also, since this is a topic about MGS4 I want to know if it's strange that I never had heard of MGS4 untill I got it last year for Christmas (it came free with my PS3.) It was such a shock to me. I never played a game like it before. NEVER. And now I'm probably the biggest Metal Gear fan on the topic.

MGS4 is amazing. Best game this gen by far. Sure, fanboys will do anything to prove otherwise, but who really cares? I don't. They're just missing out on an incredible game.

MGS4 is easily one of the best looking games I have seen this gen. Image time :D

Everytime I showed someone the final boss fight of MGS4 they asked me what movie was that, it looked so damn good on my bravia!

MGS4 definitely is one of the better looking console games this gen, but I find that it's rather overhyped here. It has plenty of horrible textures and effects, plus some framerate issues. Still a looker though.pyromaniac223

Screw Halo 3, I hate every FPS!

The technical issues in the game; namely inconsistent frame rate, installations every chapter and frequent loading screens should have prevented it from getting 10 imo. The game feels like it has been allowed to get away with issues that other games would have been down rated for.

Graphically it is patchy, some areas look good for a console while some utter crap. I watched a friend play it once in a grassy area and the floor was horrible with very poor AF filtering, there are also some very poor textures in the game, but it does have its moments.

Yeah, I'll have to agree. I'v played through MGS4 3 times and I love the story, gameplay and graphics. I must say it's the best looking game this gen, it has a very clean and realistic look to it. Even though it has some less impressive looking levels it does'nt bother me, most games today has places in the game where it has lower texture resolution anyways. But looking at the characters is just amazing, you can read the text on his Solid eye and stuff.

Remember that this game was made by Konami at a time when every game developer was and still are struggling with the PS3. It's an amazing achivement, it's allmost a perfect game.

I had a funny experience recently. I stopped playing the game for a few months and heard all the "MGS4 graphics SUCK" threads. It slowly began to warp my mind into thinking that it was right... but it wasn't. When I got back on the game later I saw how damn good the game looked. Goes to show how System Wars can melt your brain. NAPK1NS

MGS4 looks great mate and don't bother with Hanass he's just a troll, saying that MGS4 look horrible is just silly I'm always amazed by how many chaps miss great gaming experiences by doing nitpicking in the graphical aspects, is almost like they buy games to search for mistakes I mean, do you play textures? You got to look graphics as a whole... Even whenMGS4 is amazing in motion, if you look some good screenshots of it, as a whole (And that means to LOOK for beautiness not for JAGGIES), you can denny it visual prowessLookAnDrolL

MGS4 is one of the best looking games this gen, right up there wih Gears 2, Resident Evil 5 and Uncharted, but Killzone 2 still looks the best.

It is a REMARKABLE looking game, and pretty much all GAMING MAGS/SITES agree with you.

KZ2 looks better though. Still, MGS4 is a LOOKER, fo sho.

I totally agree and it's funny to think before I got my hands on the game I didn't think it looked all that great....it's definitely one of those games that looks much better in motion than still images.

360 came in 2005 destined in mind, to take away exclussives from the PlayStation 2's biggest ones because OBVIOUSLY those game were owned by millions of gamers around the whole globe and appealed to everybody, and were by far 1 of the many popular franchise there were/are. And clearly MS greatest competition is Sony. And they began 2005 year, with the idea of taking some ofthe best exclussives Sony had last gen to bring more audience and userbase to their console due to the fact that they had a 1 year headstart and would gather more gamers totheir console to get MORE SALES out of these exclussives by the time Sony lauched the PS3and like I said bring more audience and have games that appealed to non Xbox gamers (such as PS2 gamers). It was their gaming plan and strategy. They rushed everything, they did everything they could, they did the impossible to make sure they felt the satisfaction of being ahead of Sony so they could sleep better at night. :roll:

A smart move, but a lazy one. Considering the vast ammounts of money MS has, they could of gotteb themselves some first party devs......THEY WERE THOUSANDS OF DIFFERENT,IDEAS to win over thecompetition. They just used the most hated one. Which is why today there are more Cows than lemmings themselves and they actually have a reason to hate MS and calle them greedy plus an evil company ripping off their consumers with WHATEVER they can get in the most BS ways possible.

MGS started on playstation. MGS2 was ported to XBOX after the PS2 version. Basically every console version of MGS that isn't on Playstation is a port. Of course, Rising will be a multiplat.

While I do think that MS may have paid a little towards FFXIII, I don't believe they paid towards Rising or many of the other games that you listed. You're being ridiculous.

There are day levels in KZ2. Otherwise, I agree, artistically speaking. Snake model > everything.
