While I'm a huge MGS fan, it's really time to put the series as a whole to an end. We don't need this series turning into a 20 game franchise.

Peace Walker is MGS5, get over it people, if you want to play it GET A FREAKING PSP!!! I getting sick of comments like "great game butwrong platform", and 'lulz is for the PSP, i'll pass on it and demand for them to release it on PS3". PW is an amazing game, but a sequel? MGS is all over already. Kohima needs to stop the franchise since its basicly finished with MGS4, and move on to othe projects. Kojima has great talent and should start embracing it.

Yay it isn't a sequel. I'm glad to hear it's a prequel. I hope it is one of the last MGS titles though. So is there any word that Kojima is working on this MGS?

I'm sure I'm missing some beyond that as well.

Metal Gear Rising is canon while the Ac!d series is not.

I just find it funny that sites take pieces of an interview, sometimes less than a sentence, and weave different stories about it that are all supposedly "confirmed".

I think its time for him to put effort into another new fresh game, maybe he should do a mech game, MG mechs looked cool

Hey it's not like Peace Walker was bad :P

Plus it has been 2 years since MGS4. Hardly milking (even if it is, it's some delicious milk)

PSP and/or PSP successor are the only consoles which would make sense for a Peace Walker sequel. Not just because that's where the original is, but because the HD consoles and the 3DS have a Metal Gear title in the works already...

Probably a PSP game or PSN game. He's gonna want to keep it accessible to those who played the first.

I dont know why people are reacting as if theirs to many MGS games, I mean Kojima always released an improve version of the game (MG2/MGS 3 Substance) If im not mistaken, this is only going to be an improved version of Peace Walker which I thought was a fantastic game.
