Well what I've experienced of the Brawl play is laggy and not really supported. But instead I'll say (if MGO was LAN capable), SSBB vs MGO in terms of multiplayer experience. Then Brawl is the winner. But if you put it into a technical aspect, and the whole experience with people online, then MGO is better.

3 repliers with Snake avatars and one with a PS3 in it, not surprising results really. But it's unfair to do this, it should be as Benjamin said, SSBB multiplayer Vs MGS multiplayer in which case SSBB's offline is amazing and one of the main attractions with the game.

But online play is a specific part of multiplayer, what's wrong with comparing either of them?

SSBB is the better MP game

MGS 4 is the better SP game.

This should be a given. And oH GOD MGO sucks, and this is coming from somebody who loves MGS 4.

MGO offers better online structure with the rankings and such

But SSBB mp gameplay is just overall better. I mean im glad MGO has the stuff you need for the online structure but the online gameplay isn't worthy of the praise the Single player got.

I play SSBB online frequently and with all the negative comments about the lag getting to the point where it is unplayable just isn't true. It might lag at the character intros but afterwards it feels just like a local battle. As for MGO I played it 3 times at a friends house, and to be honest, its no where near the awsomeness of its SP.

Uh, to equal it up, so we don't have the technical aspects into it.

MGS4 multiplayer versus Super Smash Brothers Brawl multiplayer. SSBB wins, but that's mainly because SSBB was never meant to be played online, not in my opinion atleast. The true experience is with your friends, because the game is so full of "Wauw-moments" that playing it online with someone you hardly know just kills this incredible feeling the game can give you.

Playing MGS4 MP online vs SSBB MP online= MGS4 wins, because it is meant to be experienced like this

MGS4 Offline MP (pretending you can play MGS4 MP offline) vs SSBB offline MP= SSBB by far.

I guess it really depends on the situation. If I have friends at my house I'd stuff SSBB into the console. If I was alone I'd stuff MGO into the other console.

I think it was a couple of weeks after the launch that the lag was really bad.

I mean REALLY bad. Basic brawl was nearly un-playable.

Now it's a little more tame.

MGO > SSBB, it's a total betch to get connected online for SSBB, and it takes even longer to connect to other players when searching for people, and then you put even more anger on to your ever building tower of anger, when someone starts downloading porn on their network and the whole game starts lagging, and then you throw down your controller and start throwing your cushions and saying how you losing was total bullshnazz and how Mario got so rigged. (Not that this has ever happened to me, although SSBB online is slow as snails)

MGO is actually kinda fun,so I'll go with that, even though I don't like it very much. It still beats SSBB,what a waste of my time.
