Are we seriously debating who has the best version of old games? Seriously? I've played these games MANY times. Anything short of replacing the leads with dogs and changing the dialogue to baby talk will not make them new or exciting. If I had money to waste on a 3DS I'd prob pick up snake eater and also the HD collections. IF I had money to waste on games Ive played quite a few times already.
II just remembered how important SOUND is to the game. Better put on your headphones for the 3DS version during that boss fight. Ummm not sure if MGS3 is a good on the go game. Portable Ops and Peacewalker were barely portable friendly and they were MADE to be portable friendly.

HD collection is a much better deal imo.
I'm honestly only buying it for Peace Walker. FINALLY have a second analog stick as I find playing it with the PSP really damn annoying. When I do get a 3DS, this will be one of the titles I get. Why? Because MGS games are timeless.

Obsolete graphically, BUT you can't carry your PS3/360 wherever you go, nor can you carry MGS HD collection everywhere, which is one reason why the 3DS version is better, although, I'd just as soon play my PS2 version of subsistence...

Wow, didn't Nintendo do a similar commercial/ad 14 years ago? Guy gets captured, guy tells Sony and Sega about Star Fox 64, they play it, they think it's awesome, guy's set free but guy takes the game back with him and tells them to buy it themselves, that is exactly what happened in the similar commercial FOURTEEN years ago, nothing is every wasted with Kojima xD he even uses other companies' commercials.
