I've never understood how re-releases are judged.  For example, some would judge a re-release against an objective standard (the quality of a modern game) and naturally give a re-released game a lower rating.  A wonderful example would be the rating the recent PC port of Jade Empire recieved.

Other reviewers judge re-released games, like the editor who rated Metal Slug Anthology, as some sort of lost pinnacle of gaming history. 

I perfer the former method of rating re-released games.  I don't see how 2d plotless side scrollers score higher than decent games developed in the last several months.

PSP has more AAs than DS and even AAAs.

Any DS owner who dismisses the PSP as a weaksauce handheld is quite the tool.
The only thing they have on PSP owners is the 30-20 odd million extra sales.

Cool. But still, Lunar Knights(If GS EVER GETS TO REVIEWING IT.), Spectrobes, and Pokemon make the DS better in my opinion. That's cool for PSP owners though.

The best game for PSP is still a puzzle game, it has alot of mediocre ports but overall the systems games are just rehashed crap.Tib3ron

I am still one of those PsP people, as in i prefer it more than the DS, dont know but the games feel just a bit better (for me), and truly i do not see why it gets so much flak from the sheep, i mean the sales and game difference is very small (well sales difference aint super small, but still aint too large, i believe like 5mil, and willing to bet some of those are DS people just getting a DSL instead), while as the PsP seems to have more games on it (AA), so dont see why sheep bash it so much, although they have been known to me quite rabid fanboys, and well lol look at how bad the GC did sales and title wise (compared to other 2, and i am a GC owner, dont got PS2 or Xbox), so uh yeah, hypocritic fanboys, i emean PsP is sony's first try, while Ninty got beaten by MS when it was MS's first try.jahdude

Wow so many pathetic attempts to defend the PSP here. It's junk just face it.. There is no reason what so ever to even own a PSP if it weren't for Mega Man Power Up, Exit, Loco Roco and Lumines. The only true unique games on the system. And they're great. 

Why buy the same games over again when you can enjoy games such as Phoenix Wright, Advance Wars, Super Mario Bros ( The only SMB 2D platformer in ages ), Trauma Center, Hotel Dusk etc. New fresh games, just the way we like it.I'm not including Mario Kart DS or MP:H on that list though. Apart from bringing the franchise's online they didn't do much else and they are much like most of the PSP games improved rehashes.

Just stop defending the system. Console and handheld are to different things, and PSP proves that flashy 3D graphics and cool console franchise's doesn't always do the job.
