out of all the games coming to 360 this year the two that stand out the most and make me wish i had a working xbox is this game and me2
I think the sleeper hit is gonna be Aliens vs. Predator.

Thats Rebellion behind that game and their last two were horrible Rogue Warrior and Shellshock 2.
WOW that looks good, for some reason I get a STALKER vibe from it.tagyhagSame, I think it's the guy just talking in Russian or Ukrainian (whatever he's speaking). Stalker fans should definitely find it familiar (plot is kind of similar, not totally, but somewhat (post-apocalyptic nuclear zone shooter)

I had no idea that it was under development by another team since I didn't really pay attenion to any previews.
So many games in recent years with post apocalyptic settings...Fallout 3, Infamous, Borderlands, Darksiders.
Love the games but come on, devs need to start writing their own material.
How about pre apocalyptic settings :PI was surprised by the polish having gone into this game. I guess that's what happens when you streamline things to be more set piecey, even if the developers are Eastern European. In fact I was surprised the game still existed at all. Hadn't heard of it since like two years back, thought it had been canned.
I don't really know how I feel about this game. On the one hand it does seem kind of cool, atmospheric, detailed and surprisingly polished, but on the other hand it seems to be focusing more on shooting mutants and whatnot as opposed to character interaction, exploration and what have you.

I would steer wide from that word completely.
BTW this game is based off a book of the same name, written by a russian writer. the developers, 4A games are from ukraine. i also thought i read somewhere the book was gonna get a western release sometime.

LOOKS FANTASTICtehsystemwariorlooks like the homeless version of U2
It's based on a novel published in 2002. A move that's likely more inspired by their roots in GSC Gameworld than anything else. These people are simply interested in post-apocalyptic scenarios in Russia and surrounding regions, because of this thing that happened back in 1986 in the country they're from I imagine. So many games in recent years with post apocalyptic settings...Fallout 3, Infamous, Borderlands, Darksiders.

Or apocalyptic setting? Like you either try to save the world or end it? lolI remember when Metro 2033 was first announced and everyone was saying "Great another lame Fallout 3 clone -sigh-" and now everyone is going "Metro 2033? Game looks pretty sweet".
Looks cool, but I want to see the combat. Also I thought this game was pc/360 whats with the ps3 slim symbol.
Yeah damn those flashy games! They're all flashy and gamey!Meh.
Looks nothing more than a flashy game to me.

Isn't it being made by ex-Stalker devs? That would explain why they're so similar.
How come? Metro 2033 is pure linear shooter, full of scripted events and tight corridors. It's not open world like STALKER is, it won't have inventory, subquests etcYeah it does give that Stalker wibe but i think this game will be much deeper.
