This game is incredible! Best controlds ever for a FPS. If you have any doubt, just play it. The graphics look slightly better or about the same as Halo 2. I'm pro Nintendo yes, but I like games on all 3 consoles and Metroid Prime 3 is without a doubt the best game I have ever played next to Resident Evil 4. Amazing game.
I have played the new MP and I love the controls. I would give away my left nut to have those motion controls for halo. But overall better game? um...no. Not even close.
Nintendo have decided to isolate Europe and hold back all of the awesome games until Fall (I'm still waiting for Super Paper Mario :evil: ) and it most certaonly looks awesome, and Halo 3 vs MP 3 shall be interesting, but don't jumo to conclusions quite yet ;)

OMG another Frag feast with Mediocre Single so original, UT3 kills Halo's Multiplayer and then your left with a boring 1 time play single mode. At least I'll be able to enjoy Metroid Prime 3 for it's great single instead of another frag feast which can be found in nearly any game. This is the same for Bioshock as well as MP3.

I'm still trying to figure out why everyone thinks TC is comparing MP3 to Halo 3. :? The topic says MP3>Halo not Halo 3. And yes I have Halo 1 and 2 I also have MP3 and without a doubt MP3 kills the first Halo in single player mode and controls imo. I absolutely love the Halo series but what the Wii mote has done with MP3 I just don't know if I can play FPS again with a controller.
as a single player game i'de put it leagues ahead of either halo game. i just got to elysia and its amazing. however, it obviously isnt the lan party game halo 2 was. i dont know why people keep comparing these games as they really arent in the same genre. one's an FPS and the other is an FPA.

While I agree the single player in Prime games are amazing, but after you beat it a couple of times in time to put it away. Halo 3 and Halo games in general last a lot longer and have possibly the highest replay value of any game series ever. That my friend is where Prime loses the fight...

Wow, a blind Fanboy sis saying Prim is worse then Halo? Well, look at both of the second games, Halo 2 did better. And now look at MP3, it flopped, it was hyped AAA, but I knew it would get a 8.5 becuase it didn't look like an AAA. But and now Halo 3 will be way better than it, because it has a review, 5/5, and IGN and EGM/1up say it's amazing. So what you just said is not true.
By the way, I played and it was good, just not great.
rrrr how can you compare the two? metriod prime series is an outstanding adventiure series with great shotting mechanics. halo is a mediocre first person shooter with a decent story. they are nothing alike?
Halo: Combat Evolved has one of the greatest storylines ever in a game. And it definitely has the best story of any FPS since Marathon. Try actually playing the game. Then maybe you will understand why there are four novels in the Halo universe, plus another coming out soon, and why Peter Jackson would sign on to produce a Halo film. (He isn't doing a MP movie I see...) Halo's singleplayer trumps Metroid in every way whether it be the storyline, the music, graphics, gameplay, weapons, vehicles, innovation and the like. Heh, jumping puzzles and space pirates. Yup, real epic. Especially for a series where the biggest twist still is that the main character was a female. Whoop-de.

Um, Marathon is made by Bungie... of course they got most of their ideas from it. Heck, it's almost in the same universe they're so alike. But Bungie also got inspiration from great Sci-Fi classics like Ringworld, Ender's Game and Starship Troopers. Unlike Metroid, come on, space pirates. Heh.
