Metroid Prime 3 Hype Thread + Score Prediction (56k = no)

I'm very confident that it will be AAA. The last two games scored really well and so far I've only heard good things about this game so I think it's safe to say 9.0-9.5

Well, let's see...

It's a Metroid game, so it's guarunteed to be at least AA.

It's a Metroid Prime game, so it's likely to get AAA.

People who have played it claim it to be the best thing that ever happened to FPS's since the PC mouse.

It will have less backtracking.

Visually, it's the first real next-gen Wii game.

The ONLY thing that might ruin this game is that it might have too much of a focus on combat. And since the control scheme is so perfectly-suited for combat and not-so-perfect for exploring, I think that aspect of the game will make or break this title.

But I think it'll definitely get at least a 9/10.

I got it once using that, and thats all I needed. I was making a fairly large post with pictures in it, next thing I know, GS said I made a blank post. So I stopped posting often....

I going with a solid 9/AAA.

Though I do have some doubts. It's not the controls that worry me, that's looks to be proven already, but it's the content they've put in.

AAAA 9.5 or higher

AAA 8.5 - 9.4

AA 7.5 - 8.4

A 7.4 or lower

I didn't know there was this much MP3 Love/Hype in SW. For me Super Metroid was just Amazing specially for its time. I felt Metroid Prime was to Metroid what Ocarina of Time was to Zelda. It was a very great transition into 3D. I never played echoes..??? not sure why, but I am really looking forward to MP3.

I say AAA I mean this is Retro Studios they are an awesome developer. And after MP3 let Retro make their own new series/game and I bet it would Rock! Plus it would be a nice addition to the Wii library!
